Himalayan Salt Crystal Lamps: For Healing, Harmony, and Purification

This nifty little book features a brief overview on the history and symbolism of salt, a chapter on how salt generates healthy negatively-charged ions, and lots of suggestions for purchasing and using Himalayan salt crystal lamps. After reading this book, I was inspired to purchase a lamp for myself and have found it to be very soothing and healing. When placed in my bedroom, I found the lamp, even when turned off, kept me awake at night, but when I moved it into the main room of my home, it energized me during the day and I fell asleep much faster at night. Glad I decided to give this book and the lamp a try.

A balanced discussion of what these lamps can do and can't do. Read this book and buy yourself one of these lamps, or maybe two or three. These lamps are just one of a number of alternative health products that have proved helpful to those who use them. These products are certainly a lot more cost-effective than prescription drugs and other mainstream medicine's risky procedures. The trick is to uncover the common underlying physics of these alternative approaches so that we can determine the best ones to use for different applications based on such factors as cost, effectiveness, ease of use, etc. My research found that it is the effect on the water in our bodies that is the key. This is well known, but what was not understood was how this "structured" water is created by the various alternative approaches.

This book is full of information that I keep it in my spa studio with the lamps on for my massage clients. It's a great conversation piece really. A friend borrowed it and read it from the front to the back like a story book. I use it as a reference book and bring it with me to wellness fairs for others to read as I display a lamp or two at my booth. It's a good purchase along with having the actual lamps! I have gone on line to do my research as well but it's also nice to have something tangible to share.

Mother (in law) for Mother's Day. My husbands mom didn't know about the Himalayan salt benefits and so for Mother's Day we decided to get her this book to read up on, along with a beautiful 21 inch salt lamp...she said the book is really nice that she is learning quite a,few very interesting things and she was wowed by all the health benefits as well. I already knew about the salt lamps and the wonders it holds and so not only did I score for this Mother's Day gift but I also was adorn with kisses by my husband for thinking of something that would benefit his moms health. The package came when expected and was properly wrapped. We are very happy with it.

I was pleasantly surprised at the way the crystals emitted the sense of being at the ocean....like you were on the boardwalk smelling the sea air.. This smell is very comforting to us since we've lived at the shore all our lives and going to the beach is a fond memory!! The crystals in rhe basket emit not only the smell but when turned on the crystals emit a very warm glow, like you were watching a fire and gives the illusion of warming up the room!!!Very nice product and amazon shipped it so fast,well before the actual delivery date..and just in time for Christmas!!! I really enjoyed this book. It was very informative and provided a variety of different ideas on how to improve your health and home environment. I use my salt lamp every day and see a lot of improvements with my daily life. This book goes into many different methods to use salt lamps and the benefits. I highly recommend this book!

Book is very informative. She writes about negative ions from the salt lamps. Where to place your salt lamps. The power of Color therapy. It's not just about Himalayan salt lamps, as she goes on about meditation, chakras, clairvoyance, etc.
