Excellent, paired with a Denon AVR 760 and 79 strand speaker cable. Not sure id I should raise them higher to bounce of the insulated panel roof of the garden room for best placement, may try it to see. definitely adds that extra dimension. Subtle not over powering. Use decent quality speaker cable

These speakers actually work with Atmos and anything that needs height effects. I used to have some onkyo ones but removed them as they did nothing. I can only comment on these speakers being used as height speakers but I am delighted with these. The sound quality is really good but I have to mention the build quality is amazing. I had an accident when putting these up and one fell from around 10 feet😥 I was certain they were going to be broken but asides from some exterior cosmetic damage the speaker is working fine 😃

I was expecting disney plus atmos programmes to really blow me away. Alas I was merely impressed. They add a slight bit of drama but not as much as hoped for. Am I glad I made the purchase? Yes, only because I can't afford high end stuff and this is the best I can afford. If i had the money, I'd invest in something that gives me proper drama.

I initially bought a pair of these to add as upfiring Atmos speakers to sit ontop of my existing floorstanders (another brand). I was quite impressed by them, but decided to wall mount them near the ceiling for a comparison... and was absolutely blown away! I was so impressed that I ordered another pair! I now have two mounted at near ceiling height at the front of the room and two in the same position at the rear. My AVR is able to change them from upfiring to height/wall mounted and they sound SO different/better. If you can only upfire, I don't think it will disappoint you, but if you can wall mount them and have the capacity within your setup to change how they fire, then you will be blown away! They come with a handy wall mounting guide and template which was extremely useful.

I recently upgraded my AV receiver to one capable of providing Dolby Atmos and these speakers were purchased to complete the set up. They appear to be well made and work perfectly with the rest of my system. I am really pleased with the end result.

Not sure about the sound quality, I'll have to experiment.. but the volume does seem to be rather low

Fit exactly on top of my Polk floor standing front speakers so look very tidy. Noticeable improvment in sound experience in Atmos programs/movies.

Old type keyhole shape for screw head could do with screw mount for brackets mounted my two pair on wall so was not a problem sound is great. I know they are atmos so they can sit on floor standing speakers and bounce sound off ceiling

Love the price on open box Polk Xt 90"s deal. Bought 2 pair in case I upgrade to 9 channel amp.... For now they complete my Denon 970 avr / just purchased.Wow...killer reciever... Klipsch reference series 5 speakers...bought in 2006 and still incredible and clean... This upgrade is now a 5.1.2 set up... Polk are the .2 height fronts on my Klipsch Reference towers... Watching The Oilers in 4k on my Samsung QLED 9 Series 65 inch.. ALL my equipment is open box or Display/End of year deals..... WAIT for the discounts and you can save a shit ton!!! POLK has always been a good name for a reason and my little height speakers were 1/4 price of the Klipsch ones... So for what a height speaker provides ....This was a no Brainer . 😊

Los utilizo como altavoces de efectos frontales instalados en la pared y estoy muy satisfecho. Su tamaño contenido facilita mucho la colocación, especialmente cuando no se dispone de demasiado espacio, y el acabado es discreto y correcto. En sonido cumplen muy bien su función: aportan claridad y una buena sensación de amplitud en las pistas Atmos, integrándose perfectamente con el resto del sistema después de la calibración. Evidentemente no pretenden competir con altavoces de pared de gama muy superior, pero tampoco lo necesitan. Por precio, tamaño y prestaciones, me parecen una opción muy equilibrada y recomendable.

Meteen na het aansluiten van deze Atmos spreakers heb ik deze getest met gratis demo Atmos surround filmpjes om een idee van het effect te krijgen. Mijn verwachting was vrij laag omdat heel wat mensen online aangeven dat ze het effect nauwelijks merken. Volgens specialisten heeft dit echter eerder te maken met de eigenschappen van de kamer en de opstelling dan met de speakers op zich. Zowel wanneer ik alleen luister en met 2 andere personen erbij was het effect enorm ! We werden van onze sokken geblazen ! Het werkt dus wel degelijk en dat heeft te maken met het plafond (pleisterwerk) en de afstand naar het plafond, ze staan namelijk op een kast en vrij dicht (50cm) bij het plafond. Heb je bv. een houten plafond en staan ze er verder van af dan zal het effect minder zijn.

The speaker sits on top of my older Polk speakers sitting perfectly. I reset the Dolby Atmos on my Sony amplifier, and I am very pleased with the results. I previously had a pair of Elac Atmos which I transferred to my theatre room setup to go with my new Onkyo Atmos amp. I am very happy with the effects from the Polk Atmos speakers, as they complete my family room set as an all-Polk set-up.
