BEWARE AND TAKE A INFORMED DECISION ON PURCHASING HAVELLS BLDC FANS Here are my objectives observations: 1) Fan works well - it is silent and effective But- 1) HORRIBLE after sales service 2) Fan stopped working suddenly 7 months after purchasing 3) Customer care is an experience in itself! They will read out the script provided to them endlessly without giving ANY useful information 4) My fan did not get repaired or even attended to despite a so called “urgent” complaint Havells said they had taken! 5) For a fan this expensive to have after sales service like described above is nothing short of cheating. I bought Remotely operated fans. The key technical issue is it will not be possible to operate through regulator (as per traditional round button). So I highly recommend do not buy remotely operated fan unless you are having huge drawing room where switchboard is away. Fan quality is Good.

1) Beautiful modern sleek design. 2) What impressed me most was the Air Quality. The air at 4 is like standing in an airy window - Strong steady wind. Normal fans give gusts of wind, and for same air volume at 4,5 heavy noise. This fan at 4 is like standing in an airy window - Strong steady wind. 3) Now coming to Noise (a) It's not that there is no sound, there IS sound. But much LESSER than normal fan for same air volume. (b) the sound is low STEADY HUM almost continuous, normal fan go phat-phat-phat.
