I received one of these blankets as a gift 2 years ago. It is so amazing that I never got to use it because my family members would all crowd onto it. To fix this, I bought 2 more for a trip that we are on right now. These blankets work so well! I look around at the beach and see all of the tourists with their sandy blankets or bulky rice mats that will never fit in their suitcases going home and think, “if they only knew.” It is not dirty when we’re done because everything shakes right off. It dries super fast and is not scratchy or itchy. When I wash it, which is not often and usually involves spilled soda, it comes out perfect. I HIGHLY recommend this product!!

I LOVE this blanket! It really does repel sand, even when wet! It's a miracle!! I don't have to worry about bringing sand into the car or my bag after a day at the beach. My friends were amazed when they saw that all I did was lift the blanket and all the sand came off like nothing. Meanwhile, they were furiously shaking out their beach blankets and still couldn't get all the sand out. Definitely one of my better purchases which would also make a great gift. It comes with a feature that allows you to wrap up the blanket and button it together (the brown cloth label you can see in the photo), however, I haven't figured out a good way to wrap it using the buttons without having the sides flop around. You have to fold it in thirds in order to do that, and who has time for that? I'd much rather have it as a separate velcro strap or something that doesn't require two people or laying it flat on the ground to do it decently.

I bought this in anticipation of a Caribbean vacation, that's may be derailed because of hurricane season so not sure how sand repellant this will be. I do like the color and generous size. The blanket rolls or folds easily for packing in both a suitcase and beach bag. I look forward to using this soon.

Works exactly as described. I bought and hauled this blanket in my checked bag from Chicago to Hua Hin Thailand. Great quality, fantastic color and BEST OF ALL...SAND FREE. Will order another one shortly for the summer!

This is not a blanket, it is a piece of cloth with edging. That said, it does what it says it's supposed to do: you can sit in the sand and the sand slides right off. But if you're looking for something comfortable, then you'll have to bring a thicker blanket too. For a piece of cloth it is very pricey, but for the ease of shaking it off, it's great. I bought it because I had to throw out a towel that got wet and then sandy and there was no way that sand was coming off that towel.

Best beach towel there is. This is my second Lagu towel, my first being the smaller size. They are a little expensive, but are undoubtedly worth it as they do keep the sand on the beach and off of me. Its crazy how much this thing repels the sand, even when damp.

Good beach blanket just wish it was slightly longer so my feet don't touch the sand(I'm 5"10). It does what it's suppose to do with the sand sliding off when you're ready to pack it. I took this blanket with me on my 1 month euro trip and my only complaint is that I wish it had corner pockets to stuff sand or rocks so it doesn't fly away. Overall great beach blanket.

This product is unbelievable! The sand does not really stick on the material as advertised! I googled a lot of beach blanket and came across with this Lagu Blanket. I used it when I went to Honolulu, Hawaii. My friends were also amazed with this blanket because they were just using their towels( and we know that normally the sand sticks on the our towels). I guess they will be buying this for their next beach visit.

I bought this towel mainly on the sex appeal of the woman modelling it. Upon purchase I quickly discovered this wasn't a magic towel, it's simply made of ordinary material that happens to not pick up sand. My travel towel does the same. It does do the job however, so I really can't complain. In fact I'm not sure why I'm even giving this review.
