I have a service dog who is beginning to slip on the slick store surfaces. She is completely fine on all textured surfaces. Will this work?

Does it work? yes some things to take into consideration; how often is she encountering the slick surface? if it's every once in a while, it's fine to use before you go into that area; daily use creates little gummy, and sticky balls stuck between her toes. Does she have fur growing out beyond her toe pads (grinch foot)? This is a simple fix. Belly rubbins and toe trimmins. Short story, this is for occasional use. Hubby and I just spaced commercial entryway rugs in our kitchen, garage and built a step for her outside. Keep an eye on the hocks on the backs of her rear legs. They have some new braces I wish were available 5 years ago; I think they can have really helped with her geriatric wobble.

The person who recommended this product to me is a show dog owner/trainer and they specifically said that it is often used for indoor shows.

So I am guessing this is a non-toxic product?

The instructions on the can certainly seem to indicate it may be toxic. Warns you to ONLY spray the pads and not get any on the surrounding hair on the paw in case the dog licks it off.
