Great for Ito En lovers
I was looking for a green tea that compares well to Ito En’s while leaf sencha tea. Found it here. It has a lovely taste with a hint of umami. I recommend brewing at 168 degrees f for 30 seconds.

This is not loose leaf... it's like ground up tea with bigger chuncks
This is not loose leaf tea. I'm kinda bummed out by this cause I don't have reusable tea bags. This is very powdery with chunks of stems and leaves. If you're looking for loose leaf tea this is not it.

Perfect breakfast tea: soft and delicious tasting.
For the 10 years I lived in Mishima, I grew accustomed to and preferred Shizuoka tea. But, Fuksmushi Sencha was a good second choice. I am delighted to have Japanese green tea delivered to my home in CT.

High quality sencha at a great price
This is a great value for such a delicious, quality sencha. I prefer (the much rarer, pricier teas) shincha and gyokuro, and this tea has a lot of those same qualities at a daily-drinking price. Fresh, vibrant green color, complex grassy and fresh vegetable flavors with a fair amount of umami in the first brew. I get one great brew, one good brew, and a third mediocre brew that I add fresh ginger to. 1 teaspoon per 8 oz at 160 F for 1 minute per brew. Highly recommend this one!

Good Tea - Can decafe it
I use a trick of rinsing the tea in hot water for 5 seconds to dissolve the caffeine. Then toss that water and brew the cup.A SS filter is good, becaise you can spoon the tea leaves out and brew it.
