May Help-Be Patient-More for Turf Diseases than Mushrooms
Fungus on lawns can start in damp and humid conditions. It is best to start treatment as soon as possible when you suspect it to prevent spreading. READ the description on the webpage about Prevents & Treats and what it says about damage that has already happened. It is like more of a preemergent preventive. Once a lawn gets fungus it can become a problem every year and reoccur. It has happened to our lawn and it can be pretty hard to clear up or correct damage once there so it is best to try to do preventive care-get it down ASAP if you know your lawn had problems in past years. Our lawn has had to be treated for fungus for the last three years. I didn't necessarily expect it would treat mushrooms as I didn't really see anything on the bag that stated this, it was more for different lawn/turf diseases. Lawn mushrooms are more like growths that can occur especially after a heavy rain or over-watering a lawn rather than actual lawn diseases of the grass blades. You can prevent over-watering your yard but you don't have control over heavy rainfall which can trigger mushrooms. This is where good drainage and aeration can help. Our lawn is a Kentucky Bluegrass mix, so mainly a cool season grass which does not do well in warm humid conditions. This Jonathan Green Lawn Fungus Control can be used on cool and warm season grass. It can take awhile to see progress depending on how bad your lawn is diseased, don't necessarily expect results in days or to be cleared up right away. Sometimes a 2nd application is required and sometimes depending on severity damage can persist. Make sure to actually check out what fungal turf diseases of the grass look like if uncertain to make sure you are in fact treating a fungal disease. Also, it is suggested to rotate and use different fungal products sometimes for best results. Good luck.

This product quickly eliminated the fungus. My Zoysia grass has never looked better. I will be adding to my fungicide rotation.

THIS WORKS
I decided to try this after using Scotts, which made my lawn 10 times worse and another brand which really didn’t do a whole lot. My photos are exactly one week apart and only 1 application . You can clearly see the difference. Very pleased with the outcome. It is a little pricier, but definitely worth it in the long run. I was buying multiple bags of the other brands which ended up costing more money in the long run and they either made it worse or didn’t do anything. Definitely recommend this product..

lawn Fungus
This product does NOT work! I use only Johnathan Green product on my lawn. I am disappointed that this product did not solve my fungus issue. I called TruGreen to spray the lawn. I am giving the lawn 10 days to see if the TruGreen fungus treatment will work. I should receive a refund or credit.

Works great
After one spreading of this we saw a great improvement in killing the fungus we had in the yard and new grass growing was able to take over .. did a 2nd treatment and you can’t tell where the fungus was that killed spots of grass in the yard

Rust - Did not help
Rust is a common fungal infection grass can get during late summer to fall. When the grass does not have enough sun hours to fully dry. This devastating infection spreads quickly through wind and direct contact with the spores. I used another product which worked great! But it was expensive, this product was half the cost. So gave it a try. It did zero to control or even kill the current infection. It’s a granular product, so its easy to apply. I gave it three stars due to the product not specifically stating it kills rust. Therefore it was my own fault for trying it.
