I bought 16 ft of the GOVEE RGBIC LED Strip lights for my sons twin bunk bed to illuminate the bottom bunk. I wasn't sure whether to get RGB or RGBIC, and I'm so glad I got the RBGIC because it let's you have more than one color going at once.It was super easy to install, and the adhesion is strong, but not too strong if you need to make adjustments as you stick it on. I almost had enough to go all the way around the perimeter of the 'under bunk'-- I was about a foot short to make it all the way around, but it's barely noticeable and doesn't effect the overall effect. If I had more than 16 ft than I would have had to run a strip down the middle of the under bunk, and I think it would have been a little overwhelming since we use it during bedtime.These lights have exceeded my expectations because of the app. I had no problem downloading the app, and syncing the lights to it. Since it's RGBIC the app has tons of different pre-sets and you're not locked into one solid color-- you can actually customize all 16 segments depending on what you are looking for. If you're lazy like me there's probably over 40 different pre-sets and each one is so cool! You will find yourself playing with all the settings after you install it -- it is that awesome!These lights have replaced the need for a reading light, lamp or night light in my boys room. You can crank up the brightness for play or when it's bedtime lower it way down so that it doesn't bother anyone else sleeping in the room. My kids are always knocking stuff over, so eliminating the need for a standing light or some other lighting gadget has been great.I read that you can cut it at certain spots, but it sounded tricky to try and attach the cut strips to another power source. I would advise going smaller rather than planning on cutting it. Love, love love this product!! Highly recommend!!!

If you're using these in a high-traffic area or where kids might be nearby, it's something to keep in mind. It may also collect hair and dust making it harder to clean.Overall, these lights deliver on performance, color, and customization. Just be aware of the exposed components and handle them with a bit of care during installation.
