Good radio to use while on fire calls

Radio has excellent power output and easy to use
This radio is an absolute gift for $30. You can't even buy a police scanner for $30. This radio will transmit on VHF and UHF plus covers business band and GMRS if you are licensed there. I measured RF output and even though it did not get to 8 watts out it was a solid 7.25Watts which is really good for a $30 HT. Easy to program and use. For the price I bought a few so I always have one in each vehicle. Who cares if it gets dropped or taken at that price. I also use as a scanner for local fire and police. It will not do trunking but most older PD and Fire you can receive. I still have my 1st VHF/UHF HT a Kenwood TH-75 that I bought many years ago for $500. Silly thing is this $30 radio does so much more.
