This stuff is pretty good. I am not much of a white powder person but this stuff is really good for oil control and it doesnt look cakey. If youre looking for a cheap option for a powder then this would be great

I use this almost every day, and have been for the past nine months. It has worked perfectly, making my makeup nearly smudge-proof, fully waterproof, all while showing no residue of the powder. When initially applying it, the powder is an opaque white, but after a couple of minutes, it ends up completely translucent and lasts all day.

ELF is one of my favorite brands for affordable makeup. Their products are generally average to good quality and their prices are competitive. This setting powder is no different. I've been using it for a few months now, so let me share some of the pros and cons of the product. First, though, I would like to mention that when I purchased this through Amazon (as opposed to directly from ELF or in person at a drugstore) the powder, which is a pressed powder in a plastic case, arrived completely shattered. Not entirely unusable if you're willing to use it more like a loose setting powder as opposed to a pressed one, but very annoying. Beware of that before purchasing this through Amazon. As for the products itself, it is exactly as advertised. Some of the things I like the most is how it blurs my skin to look almost like I'm wearing a filter in real life. I usually use it as a second to last step in my makeup routine to keep from looking shiny or oily. Sometimes I use it just on my bare skin or with a little bit of primer when I don't feel like doing a full face just to give my skin that slightly polished look. It is also very lightweight and sheer as long as you don't use too much, but it does tend to last most of the day even with my oily skin type. Please keep in mind this is coming from a white teenager. I cannot personally attest to how this looks on skin any different than mine, whether that be in color, texture, or oil level. A few cons to this product, when you get to the last few bits of powder, it tends to be difficult to use as it breaks up and get stuck in my brush. This is a common issue I have with pressed powders, and as far as issues go it's not a big one. It just makes finishing up the product difficult and I usually find myself trashing the last remaining bits once I get a new one. Over all, I would give the product four stars. It's great for the price and it works for me. If you think it might work for you, I'd say give it a go.

This is just amazing. I’m getting compliments on my skin a lot since using the powder. It seems to blur any rosacea (have a tiny bit). I use Laura Gellar powder blend foundation which is light coverage, then use the blurring powder. Don’t be thrown by the white color, it blends beautifully. I can’t say enough about it…

I have bought this powder multiple times and it really is great for creating an airbrushed, pore-blurring, soft, and matte effect on makeup (and not being too expensive!). I have bought the It Cosmetics "bye-bye pores" powder, and honestly, I don't notice much of a difference in effectiveness; in my experience, you will have to reapply throughout the day regardless. I tend to use this on my T-zone as my pores are largest there and I get the oiliest there. I will say there can be a white cast depending on how much you apply, but that wasn't really a problem for me because I am somewhat fair. Yes, the product does have the risk of getting broken because of the pressed form, however the compact is too convenient for reapplication, so I'll bear with re-pressing the powder. And yes, though it doesn't come with a puff, I don't mind because the triangle puff I use wouldn't fit anyways. Overall, an awesome alternative to the expensive blurring powders!

If I was just reviewing the powder I would have given 5 stars. However, the powder inside the compact arrived in crumbles. I transferred it to a small container and used it. I was happy with the product, it was really good for the money. Goes on nice, good finishing powder.

Fantastic for blurring wrinkles, pores, and creating a natural finish without looking like a mask. I’ve tried similar powders from It and Tarte, and frankly, I don’t see the difference in quality. I’m also using very glowy, shiny lotions and serums, but this take the glare down and those shiny products can also make imperfections more noticeable. This combats the undesirable shine but still lets the glow show through.

I’ve always used elf since I started doing my make up and I find this product great for when I’m on the go and need a touch up. It helps reduce oiliness (and as a combo skin gal, this is really important for me). It’s affordable and a good product that I’ve used for years — what’s not to love?

Meine Haut ist sehr lange mattiert und das Puder zaubert eine Art Weichzeichner auf mein Gesicht. Die Poren wirken fein und die Gesichtshaut sieht klar, fein und frisch. Bronzer und/oder Rouge halten ebenfalls richtig lange. Ich bin super begeistert und werde mir Nachschub holen.
