HO Scale Building Kits - Woodlawn Police Station

This has really nice detail and was very easy to assemble.

I bought this for my nephew for Christmas. The buildings are really cute, but putting them together is a little difficult. You must like to do crafts. His mother is putting them together for him and using super glue instead of the glue that is in the kit. I think if the product had a better glue it would be much better. Other than that, he loves it. I will probably get the airport for him for his birthday.

This police station is tough to put together. My husband struggled with it & a friend at work said “bring it in & I’ll help you put it together” so that’s where it is. At work getting put together slowly on their breaks. My husband usually zips right through all the models I give him. This one was a challenge

Excellent building model for slightly experienced model railroaders. Has some difficulty, but not too difficult. A good addition to anyone's model layout.

The box contained an assortment of parts that were not intended for the model. I have since learned that "Life-Like" was purchased by Walthers a few years ago. Life-Like models that were produced before the company was sold are significantly higher quality. You can tell which products are poor quality by examining the item number. Walthers product numbers contain a 3 digit prefix followed by the original Life-Like product number. (Format 999-99999). Life-Like original (higher quality) items do not include a prefix. Walthers intends Life-Like to be their low price option. Don't buy.

Overall it will make a nice addition however, it comes with parts that are not shown on box or instructions such as a different front that can be used and a small shed that is not shown where it would go. Also, there were some small parts shown on the instructions that I could not find or identify in the kit.
