Bouht xs and it fixs loose on tightest. The belt is gigantic!!! I will have to see if I can take off like 8 inches. Do not buy unless you plan to fix size issues yourself.

When I got this and took it out of the box, I couldn't imagine it being functional or comfortable at all. This was pre-baby. So, once baby came and I had two older kids to deal with while also holding the newborn, I tried it out. I was amazed at how comfortable and functional it was. With the belt, she was snug and happy. I could wear her while bathing my other kids, or making dinner, etc. However, after a little while she started to slump down. I had to have someone help me reposition her over and over so she could breathe. So after that first time, I just found myself not going for the shirt at all. Putting it on felt like a chore, and with all the slumping down it just wasn't practical. I wore it once and decided to return it. Someone else might find it helpful if they are just planning to wear the child while laying down or perhaps walking - rather than trying to do chores or anything with a lot of movement.

I couldn't even test it with the baby as it is so small. It fits me as a regular t-shirt, and there's no space for the baby

I truly appreciate this product and what it had to offer me when my son was a small infant. He was born at 36 weeks and was five lbs. Once we returned home from the hospital I purchased this skin-to-skin wrap shirt (that's what I would call it) and I used it almost daily for the first month of his life. It was almost as if it gave him an opportunity to be back in the womb until he was 40+ weeks.Skin to skin with a slightly preterm baby was an incredible experienced. The ways that it benefited both of us were truly visible. It helped him with feeding (he was very sleepy that first month and after having him skin to skin in this shirt he would always have a good substantial feed) and it helped my uterus contract to normal size. It also helped me feel close to him after being separate for most of our hospital stay.This is not really a baby carrier, and once baby approached 8 pounds, for me it's really a "one hand supporting" kind of thing. I used to put him in and sit back and watch TV. By 10 lbs we were done using this product.I highly recommend this for those with preterm or small babies. I don't recommend it for newborns born over 7 lbs unless you are prepared to use it for a pretty brief time.

This seems great and I may try it again the next time I have a newborn, but it didn't work out this time. I followed the sizing guide and still found it way too small. The shirt fit just me fine but held baby way too right against me, and I could barely strap the waist strap around me... I believe the sizing went by pre pregnancy size, which seemed odd, but also I was in the normal range for weight gain so it seemed strange that it was so off on sizing.

It could just be my baby, but he did NOT like this. I found it difficult to get him in the pouch on my own. I also think it was very hot to wear despite the breathable back fabric.

I was a little wary at first buying this for the price without knowing how my baby would fit. But I am SO glad I did. As the “other mother” for our child my wife carried, wearing our baby is an important part of bonding but it’s not as cool to have me in the hospital room shirtless like my wife! This shirt was perfect for that immediate post-birth skin to skin without exposing my whole chest to hospital staff. Our 6.5 pound boy loved being in the shirt, and immediately slept on me. It did take some time to get used to putting him in the shirt and making sure his head was ok, but I find this happens with most carriers. The only problem was he wanted to scrunch up down in pocket (back in womb? Ha) so I had to keep my hand on his back to straighten him out. This is an issue with newborns, not the shirt. Overall a great product for women wanting to have actual skin to skin with their baby!

I ordered a 2x for my daughter who just had her last daughter. The black shirt was too tight and put marks on the side of my new granddaughter's head. We tried to adjust the area of the shirt against her little head with the belt. The belt was WAY too big!! We tried to turn the baby around with her arms out of the shirt so she would be facing away from her Mom. This caused tight marks under her little arms and around her chest.The shirt is too tight and it left both my daughter and new grand daughter feeling like they were in a sauna. To make matters even worse, I tried to return the shirt and it said, 'not eligible for returns'I bought the shirt on August 23rd, delivered on the 27th. Today is September 4th, 2021. It has not been 2 weeks and definitely not 30 days! Ofcourse I tried using Amazon's customer service and read all that return policy stuff. It all sent me in circles and back to this product that is 'not eligible for returns'I wouldn't recommend this product under any circumstances.
