ESR Write Like on Paper, Paper-Feel Screen Protector for iPad 9th/8th/7th Gen

After having to change 4 brands of screenprotectors I landed upon this. To be honest it's the best protector and the closest i could get to the PAPERLIKE. Extremely easy to install. Comes with a pair of screen protectors (just in case you mess up one). The screen protector itself has a chemical coating over it which doesn't let fingerprint smudges, dust, oil etc accumulate on the surface. Additionally, after almost a months use no cracks or crevasses have developed on the surface thus making writing with an apple pencil a buttery smooth experience. Will highly recommend to all those who use their iPad to write and make notes. P. S. The screen resolution reduces drastically because of the textured paper. It thus renders your device not fit for high definition content watching.

Product is good. But the microfibre provided is of poor quality. After wet wipe cleaning; while cleaning with microfibre, it leaves microfibre fragments over the screen everytime. At last I used spigen microfibre cloth provided with spigen tempered glass for iPhone 11. Then only I got a clean dirt free surface for the screen guard. The alignment case helps it place it perfectly. Apart from the microfibre cloth, the product and experience is good.

Initially was a bit hesitant to apply on own. Just followed the basic instructions and with the help of support frame given, it's damn easier to apply. Pros: - Simple setup - No way you can get bubbles while applying - Pre cleaning stuff included with alcohol wipe and dust remover - Supportive frame makes job simpler Post install observations: - Touch sensitivity is still smooth - Screen guard size is perfect fit ( applied on ipad 2021 edition) - Not too reflective. Comfortable to view - Thickness is optimum Happy with the purchase. May be costlier, but worth it.

My first impression of this is very good. The writing experience has improved dramatically. It feels great and works fine. It controls the glare well. Regarding the friction, it works for me, I think it's a good product though a tad bit on the higher end of the price. Application was comfortable, but since it's a big screen so be very precise and I suggest it should be done by 2 persons if any sort of air bubble is to be avoided. Screen quality is reduced by little bit but that's not an issue for me.

I struggled with getting this protector on the iPad - unlike with the one for my iPad Air, also from ESR. Both were done at the same table in the same room, with the fan off, but this one seemed an extreme dust magnet, attracting particles in the two seconds it took to peel the sticker off and pop the protector on the screen. And as you can imagine, once there are even a couple of specks of dust trapped between protector and screen, there's no point trying to peel the protector off and use the provided sticky paper to get the dust off - you just end up getting more dust on the sticky side of the protector. The provided frame helps a lot in making sure you can get the protector on asap once you've peeled the backing off, but sometimes it's not enough. Now I know why they provide packs of two - you quite likely might end up botching it on the first attempt and needing another go. Bubbling too is an issue. For me, there is a patch about 2cm across three quarters of the way down the iPad screen and halfway to the middle width-wise (so a pretty prominent spot) where the protector isn't adhering perfectly to the screen. Of course, it's only really noticeable mostly when the screen is off but it's off-putting. I made sure to press evenly and hard outwards from the centre but I still got this prominent bubble. On my iPhone and iPad Air too, for which too I use ESR protectors, I have smaller, less noticeable such patches. So yes, it's a bit of a pain, if you're not super adroit with these things.

It came with a detailed manual and cleaning kit. The frames helped to correctly align the screen protector (just push the screen protector towards the edge of the frame and it's 99% done). Overall good product, but a bit pricey (I got it for 999 rupees). A little bit of adhesive seems to lose grip towards the edges but you can press/rub the area lightly to fix it. (Happened only once since installing it).

Okay So the 1st I got was damaged. The packing and everything was good but still the glass was damaged from the left side. Now I think that ESR's fault itself. Customer care replaced it and 2nd came out good. The tool wasn't that helpful imo. I did it without the tool. Had trouble installing it too but it's my 2nd time so. Adhesion is cool too. As for the money..I think you could go for it. With the supplies you get, I think it's worth it.

please consider this before buying this screen protector 1.This is not from the brand paperlike and this is a ripoff screen protector which does not give the roughness of paper but simply just wears the pencil tip away 2. If you use ur apple pencil regularly (eg: if ur a student) the pencil tip gets worn out very fast 3. you need to replace the pencil tip every 1 or 2 months, considering that the cost of each tip is same as the cost of one screen protector , this screen protector is not worth it 4. If you really want to buy this screen protector, then invest in tip covers for your pencil which also needs to be replaced periodically

Muy recomendable, cumplió con mis expectativas. El precio es mas elevado que de otros protectores, pero opté por este porque tiene el marco lo que facilita la instalación.

Unlike literally every other screen protector I have tried, this one was easy to apply, thanks to the clip that lines it up with the centre of the device. The texture is not exactly like paper, but it definitely improves writing on the iPad and less finger prints appear, especially when resting your palm on the screen. The only downside is that it does make the text a little less sharp and the blacks are not as black, but I think this is a problem with all matte screen protectors. Not really noticeable when watching videos or looking at photos, but more so when reading. I don't really use the iPad for content consumption, so I'm happy to make the tradeoff to make it a better device for drawing and note-taking. This screen protector is definitely better value than the branded version!

Es muy fácil de colocar y lo mejor es que se queda perfecto, no se queda ni una burbuja.

Die iPad Folie ist sehr gut gelungen. Im Lieferumfang befinden sich: - 1x Schutzfolie - 1x Rahmen zur Anbringung - 1x Mikrofasertuch - 1x Tool um die Blasen herauszuschieben - 2x Sticker und feuchte / trockene Tücher, um den Bildschirm vom Staub zu befreien Die Installation ist denkbar einfach. Zuerst das Display sauber machen, indem mit dem feuchten Tuch über das Display gewischt wird (Schritt kann ausgelassen werden, wenn das IPad direkt nach dem auspacken die Folie bekommt. Danach das Display trocknen (hier empfehle ich, das Mikrofasertuch nicht zu verwenden) und den Staub mit den Stickern weg machen. Anschließend wird der Rahmen am Gerät angeklickt (hier gibt es kein oben oder unten). Sobald der Rahmen fest sitzt, kann evtl. neuer Staub wieder mit den Stickern weg gemacht werden. Als letztes wird die Folie auf der Rückseite der Schutzfolie abgezogen und die Folie wird in den Rahmen gelegt. Dies klappt am besten, wenn man die Folie am oberen Rand des Rahmens ausrichtet und dann einfach auf das Display legt und einmal in der Mitte fest drückt. Die Folie klebt automatisch und nur noch kleine Blasen müssen manuell raus geschoben werden. Durch den mitgelieferten Rahmen ist es unmöglich, die Folie schief anzubringen, sie passt immer perfekt. Gerade bei so einem großen Display ist es sonst schwer, diese korrekt anzubringen. Nach der Installation sitzt die Folie perfekt, hat keine Blasen und beeinträchtigt weder die Darstellung noch die Funktionalität des Apple Pencil. Von mir klare Weiterempfehlung.
