Great for travel
Really comfortable bag that doesn't get too bulky even when stuffed full. I did a few days in Spain with it and it was brilliant for holding everything I needed. The organisation is really good, I appreciate the outer vertical zip pockets, one of which has a handy lanyard with the clip for a keychain. Pocket for a tablet or small laptop, and soft mesh pocket for sunglasses or other small things were useful. The two inside fold-out pockets will fit an umbrella or a thin bottle. The stone colour is as pictured, attractive and easy to clean. I bought this because it fit the dimensions for a personal item on a flight and I'm very happy with the purchase.

Absolutely wonderful backpack.
I was planning to take it on holiday in two weeks time but instead plan to use it as my everyday backpack because it will hold all of my everyday items.

Tote handles need to be same size as larger version
The backpack is great. I also have the larger version. However to slim down the tote handles in size for the smaller version so much is a mistake. Having good size handles means that the backpack can be slid over the arm easily freely up both hands to work together.

Nifty personal bag
Arrived in one piece and in perfect state. Love the color, a beautiful deviation from my usual choice of black. I bought this for a fraction of the original price. I don't know why it's the only colour that is discounted. I have not used it out yet but I'm planning to take this as my personal bag (my only bag) for an upcoming trip for a couple of days since dimension-wise it suits for the budget airline that I'm flying with. It's filled up to the brim, holding up so far so I'll update this one once I come back from my holiday.

An ok bag.
This bag looks very nice, but I found that despite its good looks, it has a few niggles that I don’t like after using it for a while now. Firstly, the straps for wearing it on your back are laughably small. I’m a six foot two, rather slim man, and it’s a struggle to get my arms through the loops to wear it. Because there’s not much wriggle room, the bag presses against my back and when I walk if I get sweaty it presses the wet fabric of my clothes against me, which is unpleasant. The carrying capacity of the bag is rather small. I can just about squeeze my tiny work laptop in, a notebook, a small water bottle, and my glasses case, but beyond that there isn’t much more room. I certainly couldn’t get my lunch box in there with everything else. It is rather expensive for what it is, though it seems well made. I don’t think I’d get this again, were I in the market for a new bag. But it’ll do for now.

Premium price but quality with it
Bought the saltbush colour but returned and went with the slate version. I love it. I tried a few other Bellroy bags first but this was the one for me. It's pricey, but I was shocked how pricey backpacks are now - a quality bag isn't cheap be it Osprey, North Face, Deuter, Patagonia, Aer, etc.I like the size of this bag. It is a little on the small side but the whole point for me was an everyday bag which I wouldn't put too many things in and wouldn't weigh me down. Also, I didn't want it to look huge on me not being particularly tall.I can put in a waterproof or umbrella, laptop or iPad notebook, pen, glasses, sunglasses, bits and pieces, keys, water bottle and have a little room left over for shopping for example. Room for book as well. Won't pretend there's loads of space but it's just right. The bag itself is very lightweight and very well made. And I like the look very much.

Perfect day trip bag
Didn’t want a full size backpack but something with some style & this replaced my 20L sports backpack. Perfect for compact day trips when on holiday.
