Very comfortable; Covers enough of the lens to cut out floaters, but also allows air in. A perfect eye patch solution!
After an unusually difficult cataract surgery last week, I found that I had two wear a patch for at least six+ hours a day. I tried what the ophthalmologist gave me, and found it very uncomfortable. My eye tended to sweat because there were no "vents," like a pirate's patch. I came to Amazon, and must have looked at 25 patches, and they all looked alike. Then I saw these, and bought them immediately. These are just plain clever in design, slip over the earpiece of my glasses, let in enough air, and cut out just enough from my right eye that even the floaters disappear. I'd by these in a New York minute! Even if they can't be laundered - and I don't know that they can't be - I'd be willing to spend the money and get another pack. Hopefully my eye will be healed by then, but until then, this is the most comfortable alternative to the "regular" patch. They should be patented: even my ophthalmologist said so. She'd "never seen anything so clever in her 25 years of practice."

Easy to use. Multiple sizes
After years of using stick on eye patches, my wife and I decided to give FCAROLYN Eye Patch for Glasses a try. I liked that the package came with multiple sizes and multiples of each size as we invariable lost a couple. The patch has a little hole at the back end and a slot that the eye glass arm slides through making sure it stays in place and prevents peripheral vision. We found them to be as effective as the stick-on eye patches and much easier to use. Plus, it ended up being far cheaper than buying a box of eye patches every month.

Great product!
I bought these eye patches because of a problem with a nerve that controls my left eye movement which resulted in double vision. I went to the emergency room at the pre-eminent eye hospital in my region of the country and they gave me a regular "pirate" style eye patch to wear. This helped with the double vision, but it didn't allow my glasses, which I need to see well out of my good eye, to sit squarely or comfortably on my face. I had real troubles reading, doing things on my computer and even watching TV.Figuring there had to be a better product out there, I looked to Amazon and found these patches. Since they were under ten bucks so I thought I'd give them a try. Well, I'm glad I did! These patches are totally opaque and black, blocking all light and are designed to cover not only the lens of your glasses, but they also wrap around the side. The ones I got extend far enough above and below the lens on my glasses that they block nearly all light coming into that eye. There's only a narrow strip of light above and below. The patches are light-weight and they don't bother my eyelashes, so they're very comfortable. Two things to be aware of: First, there weren't any instructions included and it took me a few minutes to figure out how the things went on my glasses. I have wire-rimmed glasses and needed to cut a small slit on the inside of the patch to fit around the little prong that holds the nose-rest. This wasn't hard to do, but instructions would have helped. Second, one of the pictures on the product page says it comes in two sizes. The product description didn't say what size these were, there was no drop-down selector to choose a size and there was no size designation on the package I received, so I don't have a clue whether I got the regular or large ones. I suspect they're the regular size but I have no way of knowing for sure. Whatever, I would guess that the ones I got would cover glasses up to the size of the roundish lensed, plastic rimmed ones.Overall I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this product. For the price, you can't go wrong.

Dont buy it.
There are no instructions. You get different sizes. Patch is like a game of intelligence to get on your glasses. I almost gave up until I really looked at all the sizes. I tried to get one on and decided it didnt work. It was too small. After an hour I finally solved the puzzle. Product works good but I have 5 useless pieces and only 1 good one. Then I will have to wash it all the time. Wouldnt recommend it to anyone.

CATARACT SURGERY -- WHAT your EYE DOC may not tell you!
There was no eye patch or lens shield in the post op bag I got from eye surgeon, just a hard plastic eye shield for night and dark glasses. For some people, JUST popping out the lens of their glasses on the eye they had surgery works. DIDN'T for me.The vision was just TOO different.WHAT I LOVED ABOUT THIS SHIELD:CAN USE ON EITHER SIDE OF GLASSES: I can put on right or left side. If I want to give the eye with cataract surgery a rest, I put it on that side. If I want to just see out of my newly-operated on eye, I put it on the other side.QUANTITY - the fact you get several is pretty cool because I got readers for small print even before I had other eye done (I could STILL see small print up close with eye I didn't have surgery on because I'm so nearsighted) because I KNEW I would NEED readers. I put one of these shields on my new cheap reading glasses. I also got a cheap pair of blue light computer glasses and put one of the shields on the side I didn't have done yet.PRICE - HARD to beat the price and WELL WORTH IT TO ME.BLOCKS OUT - most light AND, if there a breeze, helps block that out.FOR ME and what I NEEDED FOR, FIVE STARS. WELL WORTH THE MONEY.

Sanity Savers!!!
These eye patches are amazing and have saved my sanity. I had a detached retina in one eye. I bought these before my surgery and started wearing them so I could read and work on the computer. To hold the retina in place while the repair is healing, the surgeon placed a gas bubble in my eye which will dissipate over time. Trying to do every day activities with the gas bubble in one eye confuses my brain because the field of view is wavy. So just cover the eye with thygas bubble and everything is fine. These fit on my glasses very well and don’t interfere with my eyelashes like a patch that’s strapped to my head would do.
