If you can pictur that the lid flips in the middle, you half less than half of the circumference of the trash can to try to put a piece of Kleenex or tissue paper inside. The good news is I live alone and have no children so this is only used by me and I've learned to live with it because it truly is a very beautiful sturdy heavy brass garbage can. Do you want to Jazz up your bathroom don't hesitate it really is gorgeous just be aware that functionally it may not be the best

This is ONE trash can not a set of TWO
Misleading advertising. I thought this was a set of 2 trash cans for the 75.99 price. It's just one black can and a gold sleeve that slips over the top. Not worth the high price.
