The elite v2 controller runs on an internal battery. If you have the first elite controller then yes it will fit

Do you sell the batteries separately?

I don’t believe they do because I have been searching amazon & the internet and can’t find anything.

Can this charger use standard rechargeable batteries?

The device comes with two rechargeable batteries . Out of the box . As for the use of other rechargeable batteries I am unsure since most companies design there rechargeable batteries differently to one another .

How long does the charge last?

I'd say 10 to 12 hours before needing to swap batteries. It's not the most convenient battery charger, but very cool looking.
