nice socks
been buying Canterbury socks for years. these are tough long lasting socks, especially if you have the time and space to air dry them so they don't get cooked in the dryer. they are a little slippery in a shoe until after the first few washings. Thank you for not reducing the quality even after all these years!

Too big and roomy
I wear a size 9 shoe, and the Canterbury style is too big in size L. The package indicates it is for sizes 6-12.5. The heel of the sock goes up to the ankle. The rest of the sock is too roomy. They are made of good and lasting quality, however. I would have rated them a 5 but for the size; had to return them.

Finally socks that stay up during the day
I think my sock-finding journey have finally come to an end. I've tried bamboo socks, wool socks, synthetic, etc. I wanted to find something that didn't cost wild money and was stink-free and stayed up on the leg, and these socks fit my criteria: they are thin and soft and - the best part - they don't slide down during the day. I like that they're thin and breathable, so my feet don't sweat in those, therefore, don't smell. They stay up during the day even during the winter months when skin gets all dry. With that, I've already bought a second 3-pack of these.

Ill try to explain the bad reviews!
So I used to buy gold toe at sears in Canada, then they elluded me until amazon. What has changed besides where they are made (no consequence) is that they have at least six models not including the many short versions. The two main models i buy are these (Canterbury) and harrington. The Canterbury is far more stretchy and elastic as well as thinner. So if you are looking for a diabetes suitable sock, this will do. People complain about being to elastic (YOU bought the wrong model), doesn't go past calf; that is right, it is crew and crew does not go past calf (YOU bought the wrong model) toes tear or has lots of fluff; toe area is very well reinforced so mabye cut your nasty toenails and wash your socks inside out before wearing them instead of being a bunch of "Karens". The only complaint that is justified is sizing. I am a 13/14 double wide and the 13-15 fit perfect if your below 12 or above 14 your choice is obvious but for 12 or 13 it may be hit or miss. You may have to fail with one than get the other. As for those with 13/14 saying they are way to small then they sent you the wrong size somehow period because I gave some to my size 16 friend and they fit him although slightly stretched cause thats what they do. Lastly is you want the fully cushioned, thicker, less stretchy and not suitable for diabetes then get the harrington. The most common post doesn't say harrington in the description heading but they are. Search for "Gold Toe Men's 656S Cotton Crew Athletic Sock MultiPairs" and lastly all gold toe are sold in pairs so if it says 6 pack its six pairs etc. I have bought at least six orders of all different models crew and shoe liners and they were all pairs which frankly should be obvious. Do you really think when buying a 3 pack they will send you 3 socks! Some people will have you believe that! Those saying otherwise in reviews or questions are trolls or competitors. Hope this helps to reduce the amount of karens out there.......

Big size
Great quality but too big. I’m 10,5-11 (US) in shoes but they where way too big. Go for the smaller option.
