DysonUniv Stiff Bristle Brush

Works BETTER than the Dyson "Mini Turbine Tool", which I purchased to vacuum my stairs. Well, glad I ordered this also, because it works a TON better than the turbine.The "Turbine" basically stops spinning the minute it touches the carpet and I move it. And the 'bristles' are few and far apart. (Yes, I tried EVERY tip and instruction about the turbine). I REALLY should have listened to all the reviewers about that Turbine. But I thought...hey I'm smarter than those people! I'LL get that thing working properly....NOT. The mini turbine is a useless Tool!Trust me. And my carpet is not super thick or plush.So back to this thing. I ordered it at the same time. Juuust in case. Yep. Something in my subconscious must have told me "you not as smart as you think dumb a** !THIS is the one. Get it! Comes with an 'attachment' fitting so it will work on every Dyson.It is very stiff, but not so stiff it will tear up the carpet. And not stiff like a 'metal' brush! Just much stiffer than the brushes that come with the Dyson. Not easily bent. Would I run it over a pet to groom its hair? NO!I run it back and forth a couple of times over each stair.....but I'd have to do that ANYWAY with a stair cleaner attachment.This pulls/fluffs up the carpet and the super suction of the Dyson sucks up all the dirt, lint, hair, etc. The stairs look new after cleaning with this. Clean and fluffy.Sending back the "Mini Turbine Tool" and buying another one of these just to have as back up, at about 1/3 the price of the Turbine!So I don't understand one reviewer who said it was "too expensive" ??!! ($20 bucks is a lot cheaper than MANY of the other Dyson Tools, and certainly a LOT cheaper than the Mini Turbine). Especially if it works. What do you want it for? $5.00?And it is made out of the same materials as all the other Dyson Tools. Plastic? Yes. But the SAME plastic as you've been using all along if you use your Dyson Tools. Not brittle plastic.As for the other reviewer: This fits my upright perfectly. Without having to use the small connector/fitting. The little enclosed instruction 'paper' even says "FITS ALL DYSON VACUUMS". Are you putting the connector on correctly?!?Highly recommend.

I have a velvet sofa that my dog loves to lounge on. You can see where this is going, can't you? I have used a Dyson vacuum for 7-8 years all over my house and love everything about it but it never worked very well on my velvet sofa. Aside from getting one of those hairless dogs, or shaving the dog we currently own, I had given up on ever having a hair-free velvet sofa. This brush is fantastic. It gets dog hair off velvet! It gets dust off everything and it works wonders on the interior of my cars. It's so reasonably priced I can't believe I didn't buy this brush years ago. You don't have to go over areas again and again because with this brush dust and hair are GONE after one pass. Buy it, you will be pleased.

This is a very stiff brush--I used it successfully on a hall runner rug that tends to collect a lot of cat hairs. It cleaned it up quickly. You do need to stop and pull the hairs loose periodically so they can go down the vacuum tube. Be careful on fabric with a loose nap. I tried it on the dog bed cover and it tended to pull the fibers loose, so i reverted to the separate Dyson attachment that vibrates and pounds the dirt out.I could see using this on door mats and other stiff surfaces--not on throw covers or pillows.

This is a great brush.I have a wool area rug which loves to shed (a lot) and have struggled to find a Dyson attachment that has firm enough bristles that will pick up the strands of wool not quite loose enough to come up with the regular vacuum head. Fortunately this attachment does the trick. Firm bristles, but not too firm.I would not use this on a delicate rug, that is not its intended purpose.Also of note- make sure it fits your particular Dyson, different models have different attachment head sizes. This particular attachment does not fit The Animal, for instance.Solid construction (OEM) like the other parts that come with the vacuum.

I was desperate for a new brush attachment for my Dyson due to the fact the one included with the vacuum was worn out.I knew I needed something stiffer since my cleaning habits were obviously too rough for the original one.Let me warn you, this brush is much stiffer and could possibly damage fine carpeting or fabrics if used with too much vigor. I didn't have any issues myself, but immediately noticed I didn't need to work so hard using this brush as opposed to the old one. For that I am pleased.

This fits my Dyson Big Ball Animal vacuum. However, I wish the bristles were stiffer. I have two dogs and two kids and a carpet staircase that always seems to have a good layer of fur and dirt on it. I use this attachment solely on the stairs and have only had this a month and a half. I already feel like the the bristles are not working as well because they are not stiff enough. I was very happy with this for the first two weeks, but am now searching for other, better, ways to clean my stairs.

Bought this to replace the original brush for my Dyson because the original got lost somewhere while I was cleaning things here at the ranch. Anyway.... This one works just fine. Just don't loose the attachment clip for my Animal 17 or you will be up a creek and have to buy another. My only disappointment is that I can't store it on the vacuum caddy because it doesn't fit.... Oh well.... Maybe I will find the original and use this as a back up.

I bought this to go with my DC44. This is a fine brush but really should be standard equipment in any vacuum kit. Instead my vacuum came with a lame brush with sparse bristles that is almost useless. Why this isn't in the standard kit instead of the useless one they give you is beyond me. It is a fine brush, with nice dense bristles and fits fine on my Dyson DC44 portable vacuum (and probably with most Dysons) but I am only giving it 3 stars because it is WAAAY overpriced for such a basic item - but if you really need it, it will work. Dyson just has you over a barrel.

写真ではブラシ間の密度があるように見えた為、期待して購入。しかし現物はブラシの隙間が大きいためせっかくの吸引力が半分以下って感じです。２つ以上の⭐︎を付けている方は密度の高いブラシを使ったことありますか？当方は仕事でも使いますが全く違いますよ！「使える」と言っている方に文句はありませんが今後、密度の高いブラシを使う機会があったなら本商品に高い評価をされた方々は即座に後悔するでしょう。結論として単にアタッチメントの１つとして使用するなら良いと思いますが、評価の高いレビューを鵜呑みにして購入すると後悔する方は少なくないと思います。

ウチのネコ、ダイソンの音を気にしません。それどころか掃除機を持つと、グルーミングをしてくれと寄ってきます。今までは付属の小さいローラー付きのヘッドを使っていたのですが、イマイチ毛が取れない。これを使うと結構ごっぞりと取れてビックリしました。ついでに、モップの汚れ取りにも重宝しています。

本ノズルは割と硬めな毛が密度濃く付いています。したがって、例えばパソコンの通気グリルとかフィルターとか、細かい形状を持った硬い物の表面に付いたほこりをかき出して吸引するような場所への使用に向いています。家具やTVの上面に薄っすらつもった埃を取るにはソフトブラシタイプの方が適しています。ダイソンのパーツは皆高いので星一つ減。

期待していた吸引力はなかった。ブラシの毛先がもっと短くて硬いブラシと少し柔らかめのものが混載していて密集していると良いのではないかと思いました。
