Updating a negative review! The applicator design is fine. You just have to PULL THE INNER TUBE ALL THE WAY OUT UNTIL IT CLICKS! The click sound means it's locked and ready to insert. New design actually rocks - no more surprise pinching down there. I wrote a negative review because I thought that the new applicator had a design flaw - it wouldn't push the tampon out at all. I was super frustrated and went to Cora's website...then I saw that they had a description of how to use the new applicator...literally you just have to pull the piece out UNTIL IT CLICKS. I'm now super happy with the updated design because now there's no potential for pinching, which was a big problem with the previous applicator.

Love these! Especially enjoyed knowing they were made of only cotton! I will be switching over to this brand ONLY!

I always used to fight with the applicator on these. The tampon used to get stuck and not push out all the way, talk about a mess. I've since tried the new applicator and what a night and day difference. No issues, it works great. Would definitely recommend trying them with the new applicator if you had a bad experience with the old one. I love that these are organic cotton and not filled with toxic chemicals. Great option for those not wanting to use a cup, etc.

Theses are the WORST tampons I’ve used in my over 30 years of using tampons. I ordered multiple boxes and used them without issues, but the new applicator is a literal joke - I have had to throw out more of these than I have been able to use. The new applicator has a small plastic extender that you pull out that is very poorly designed. After clicking it in place, you are supposed to push it to dispense, which has only worked for me very occasionally- talking 1 out of 4. The rest of the time it just clicks back without dispensing and you have a half launched tampon, which is deeply frustrating. This is the most difficult tampon I have ever attempted to use. Most of these went in the trash after very frustrating experiences, which has never happened to me before. Do better Cora. We need organic period supplies that actually work and aren’t just overcharging us for products that don’t work. I have never written a review in my life but was so frustrated and disappointed about my experience with this updated product that I had to. I’ve ordered multiple boxes of these before and didn’t have issues with them with her previous applicator.

Switched to these for a little while now, because I wanted to use organic. They are pretty good overall, but the applicator needs work. They frequently malfunction, and are not reliable. I've never had that issue with the more common brand names.
