This is a very sturdy mug, and because it's porcelain; it doesn't feel that heavy. There's a slightly better taste to drinks, as well. The reason that I took two photos, is because the starry mug effect, is best shown up under direct natural bright light. Under shaded household light they appear completely dark navy blue, almost black in appearance. I couldn't use my smartphone's torch and camera at the same time, so I took the other one with camera flash; to see the pattern. If you want the starry pattern to always show up, buy a brighter blue.

Useful mugs for hot or cold beverages. I'd have preferred a set with a white inside, but these were about the same size as the set with white insides and were cheaper.

I loved these mugs, beautiful and a great size and comfortable to hold but yesterday I was making a cup of tea and when I poured the boiling water onto the tea bag I heard a crack and found that the mug had cracked, it was sitting on my draining board so I was surprised and disappointed but still have three lovely mugs left, shame though as it had never been dropped or knocked against anything and I have used it since I got it in the same way. J'ai fait l'achat dans un autre commerce d'un set de vaissailles en céramique de la même couleur et finition. J'ai trouvé ces tasses qui s'agencent parfaitement avec mon set de vaisselles. Je suis ravie!! Elles sont d'un bon format et la prise en main est confortable et stable.
