My lp conga and tumba are wider than 15" as the drum tapers to the bottom. will these cases fit the lp drums "classic model" conga and tumba?

NO for "Matador" series congas >>>>>>>>>>If the "Classic" series are smaller than the Matador congas they might fit ?????......... I have a pair of LP "Matador" drums a "tres dos" (conga) and a "salidor" (tumba). The heads (playing surfaces) are 11 and 12 inches respectively and what I assumed were the measurements the "Padded Conga Gig bag" was using in sizing their bags. Unfortunately their 12 inch bag does not fit the 12 inch Tumba drum, however, is a workable tight fit on the 11 inch Conga drum.The quality and workmanship of the drum bag is very good and will hold up and last for "occasional" use. The drawbacks are: padding is minimal and will not protect the drum from airline baggage handlers abuse. There is also an overwhelming textile odor emitted by the bag fabric. If these negatives are acceptable, it's a good bang for your bucks!!

Your ashiko should fit in this bag; make sure you measure your drum correctly as well as match up the size of the bag. the bag unfortunately for me was too big for my Djembe; therefore I did return it. I'm in the process of looking for a bag that fits my Djembe properly.

This bag doesn't look padded in the pic.  How much padding is there?

it is padded enough for me, but not as padded as the lp bags I use for my Original Valje's they are also small bags my glass just fit a regular size drum say 31 wouldn't fit I believe the Matadors are 28 inches.Vinny (Yambu) Matadors
