Is it stainless steel or aluminum?

It is stainless steel. Bought this for my restaurant in 2019. It cleans easily and still looks as nice as the day I installed it (which took like 5 minutes tops). Excellent purchase and value. It holds the tickets securely but allows them to easily slide. No regrets buying this item.

how many order sheet it hold at one time?

It would depend on the size guest checks you use. I have the 36” model and I can put up to around 12 tickets at a time.

How does this do with holding multiple sheets of paper in a stack? Was think of using it to hold several drawings (maybe 5).

It will hold several back to back guest checks...we have gone as deep as 3. I would assume it would be dependent on how heavy the paper/paintings are.

I see that the length is 36". Is that the total length of the rack, or the length of the portion that holds? I need 35 inches of holding space.

It is 36" in total but it will hold the 35" as well.

Quality product that won’t disappoint you!

I purchased this item for my vintage drive in to replace baling wire strung with clothespins to hold food tickets and I could not be happier! It installed in less than 3 minutes and looks lovey! Great product

I got this product because we have a food stand at a local auction in our area. we were currently putting our orders up with scotch tape... ya not working so well. I received this product and it was just what we were looking for!! Works great and we love it. Keeps the orders up and secure and just where we need them.

I love slide ticket holders

I love slide ticket holders. I have 3 of them, 1 in the kitchen for my wife to put her recipe's and our shopping list. the second one is at my computer desk so I can put reminders and other things for business. The third one is in the garage to hold drawings of the wood projects I have going on.

Works Great!

This is mostly designed for restaurant paper orders: easy to insert, remove, move over. I thought it would be a great idea for lists, schedules, reminders, etc. in my office. Turned out to be a great idea! No more sticky notes all over the place!
