Can these be used to clean fruits with tender skins?

Would these work to apply sunscreen or lotion to a child who can't tolerate sunscreen application?

I haven’t tried using these for sunscreen. The bristles might be too long. I usually use the spray on sunscreen. It’s super quick and my child is fascinated with getting sprayed.

Could this be a choking hazard? Because my daughter loves rubbing brushing against her mouth and sometimes bites them. She has autism so brushes calm
