Very sharp & precise scraper with a rock solid construction with a comfortable and grippy handle.
I have no major design issues with this scraper, right out of the minimalist plastic clamshell style packaging which protected and covered the blade in shipping. The tool is very comfortable in the hand and with the length and shape of the metal shaft and the handle you can choke up on the tip of the tool for more control for delicate jobs. It's surprisingly versatile and you can switch the blade around to either a pointed tip or the flat edge and it makes easy work of any surface scraping jobs, except for larger surface areas where it would take too long with the small blade but they seem to have larger models. The blade has held up great and hasn’t shown any blunting or damage even after being used on harder materials like the rusty bits of an old metal toolbox I inherited from my granda that desperately needed some fixing up.The only complaints I have are very minor negatives for me after a few weeks of occasional use. The first is that when it arrived, the blade wasn’t aligned properly with the slot in the tool. However, it's a quick enough fix with a Phillips head screwdriver to loosen the clamping screw and straighten the blade out before using it for scraping surfaces. The second complaint is that you don’t get any sort of blade guard for the end. So unless you fashion your own cover from something, the hard carbide blade will be a hazard for other tools and its container as the blade is very sharp and pointy on the corners. It isn’t quite hair popping razor sharp but I can guarantee it’d do a fair bit of damage if you mishandled or improperly stored it.Happy to recommend this scraper, other than the mentioned minor negatives it's a great tool that deserves its spot in the toolbox. Of course, it doesn’t hurt that it's priced well relative to other carbide tipped scrapers of this size.

Great Tool Just Wish There Were Spare Blades
My husband has finally started on the road to be a D.I.Y. guru so I got this tool to help start him off and to use for some jobs that needed doing around the house. This looks and feels very sturdy however only one triangular blade is included in the pack and no links to purchasing moe from the seller. He actually used the side of the blade to start with to get the silicone off around the bath after a worker had made a really bad bodge job of it a d water was leaking from the tub. This made an annoying job much easier and very useful. His next job was stripping paint off the bannister with the help if a heat gun. It was so much easier to use this tool and paint easily came off. He liked the handle as it's very ergonomic to grip in hi hand too.

Rough surfaces scraped!
Nice to hold, not sure where to get spare blades but hopefully will not need them too often. Worked well scraping out some rebates on my bee hives which is what I bought it for.

Useful tool
This triangular blade scraper came in really useful when we needed to renovate our tired looking wooden worktops. They are 10 years old and have water stains and cooking marks that wouldn’t come off with general cleaning so we thought we’d try removing the top layer instead. So this arrived and my husband got to work. It took some elbow grease as well but it was able to remove the top layer of one of our worktops and they came up really well with some wood stain. We did end up buying a larger one to cover a bigger area so it depends on the job you’re doing.

Works well
I got this scraper to clean paint off the glass on an Billy bookcase we had painted.Despite using masking tape, paint bled under the tape and managed to get all around the edges of each pane of glass in the doors of the cabinet. This scraper is perfect for removing that paint. The blade is super sharp and is at a good angle for gently scraping the paint off the glass. It's a pity that a spare blade isn't included, considering the tool was £15 at the time of ordering, but it is removable so can be sharpened. It can also be rotated, so if one edge becomes blunt/damaged another can be used.Overall, I'm pretty happy with my order.

OK, but could be much better
This item was supplied to me free of charge through Amazon’s Vine programme, however this in no way influences my review, which is intended to be both impartial and informative for potential purchasers.Although I have previously used flat scrapers or Stanley Knife blades to remove excess paint from glass and other surfaces, I thought it would be worth trying out a specialist tool to see whether it made things any easier. The tool itself is nicely shaped, with a soft grip handle that sits nicely in the hand. At the business end of the scraper is a (very) small triangular blade which is sharpened on all three sides, allowing you to turn the blade when an edge becomes dull - given that the blade is made of steel it should also be possible to sharpen it a couple of times before it is unusable. You can also turn the blade so that rather than presenting a flat edge to the surface it actually presents a point of the triangle, meaning that you can get into difficult corners, but also requiring care to avoid gouging into the surface. In use the scraper worked reasonably well, removing excess paint from windows where the frame had been glossed. The tool isn't without its faults though - the angle at which the blade is presented to the surface is, in my opinion, much to steep and given the shape of the scraper it's very difficult to use it at a shallower angle. Also, where the shaft sits above the blade is very thick, making it extremely difficult to get close to window frames because the shaft fouls on the woodwork. This could easily have been solved by tapering the shaft at the end.A couple of other points to note if you're thinking of purchasing the scraper - it doesn't come with a spare blade, which is disappointing for a tool with an interchangeable blade. It should also be noted that the pictures on the item page are very misleading - the actual scraper you receive is the one pictured in the first four pictures, but I have absolutely no idea what the point is of the final three pictures other than to confuse matters. Not bad, but it could be a lot better.
