So small and functional you won't believe it...and comes with VGA cable
I ordered this based on the 4 star reviews this has and was a bit unsure however I have to say and these are only my initial thoughts/impressions but this little gizmo appears to be the real deal. When I say little, I mean very little. It's tiny!I bought this for use occasionally with my iPad 4/Air for Keynote presentations and I am very impressed after trying it out for 10 minutes this morning when it arrived. Top notch service from Amazon with next day delivery as usual! This little projector comes well packaged with a VGA lead (ignore previous reviews and don't buy one as I did - so I'm in the process of returning my spare cable), a carry case, a power lead and a mini-tripod - excellent! Word of warning..you will need a VGA to lightning/30pin adaptor depending on which iPad/iPhone you have for this to work with your Apple iDevice.Clarity of picture and ease of set up are excellent and the projector has a battery for presenting unplugged if required although I have no idea how long this will last. I'd imagine probably about an hour given a full charge first. My only minor gripe is that the projector is extremely lightweight and is easily moved around when the VGA cable is plugged in due to the weight of the cable. I think some sort of sticky mat might stop it sliding around though so I'll give that a try.I have a presentation next Monday so will update my review accordingly however my first impressions of this product are excellent and well above and beyond what I expected. I'm very happy with this product. I recommend checking this out if you're in the market for a very portable projector.

Pico Pix Magic box
A friend has an Iomega pico projector which I saw once and was hooked on the idea. I live in Portugal and in the summer it would be great to watch TV or films outside in the evening once it is completely dark- it is brilliant for this if you have a large white wall. He hooked his up to an I-Pad and a bluetooth speaker which worked well with a downloaded film. So far we have only used it in the house and connect it to a DVD recorder with a single 10 meter RCA phono lead to send the picture to the projector. The audio is already connected from the DVD recorder to a hi-fi. The Sky box is also connected to the DVD recorder, so we can watch TV or recorded stuff. The room has to be very dark for the best effect and onto a white or whiteish wall. Ours is an old house and the wall is not perfectly flat or completely white, but it still works well. HD it is not, but it is really well suited to watching something like a music concert which doesn't rely on sharp focus. With a proper screen it would probably be better and sharper. The tripod is really dodgy and does tend to topple over due to the leads in the back - I have caught it several times before it fell to the floor and have now stopped using it. We have it on top of a small table with a stool on top of it behind the sofa, so it is about 1.5m high and about 4 meters from the wall. Although this is further than the recommended range it seems to still focus was well as if it were 3 meters away, but the picture is massive. When the summer comes around again I am thinking the easiest thing, as I don't have an I-Pad, will be to buy a cheap home cinema system which can live outside for the summer. This will allow us to play DVD's with surround sound. Another option which I haven't had much success with so far would be to use a laptop with some additional speakers attached.

Tricky to set up on everything
This projector is small and compact and has a rechargeable battery but that's about all I can say for it from a positive point of view.I have tried to set it up on a Mac air and even with the latest drivers I can barely get it working. Even then it only works in extended desktop mode if it works at all. I tried on a Macbook Pro with the same result. I got the iPad cable and I can't for the life of me work out how to get it to actually project once plugged in.I tried it on a PC laptop and it works absolutely fine. No tricky set up or anything. So I guess the message is that if you want it for a PC you'd probably love it but if you have Apple products then you will most likely end up very frustrated and consider sending it back like I did!

Very good surprise
I have read some reviews and my expectations were not very high about this product. However, I must say it does what it advertises and it was a surprise for me how good it works. Some people complain that the package didn't bring the VGA cable, but in my case it was packed and works fine. Of course it performs much better on darker rooms, but it is perfect for my needs.I am sure there are better projectors out there, but this turned out to be a good value for money and if you have problems with space, this kind of devices are perfect. The only thing I could improve would be the stand. It is not very stable. But it does not affect the functionality of the projector.

Great buy
Bought this projector to use in my room along with a wireless mouse and wireless keyboard. Works well for my purpose, Works straight out of the box when connected to my laptop. By the way, 2 cables were provided for the connection, one is for computer and the other one with 3 heads that i have no idea what for.( yes i'm an electronic noob)Doesn't really work in bright day light, need to close all my blinds since it's only 30 lumens. Images are a tad grainy, but it's ok to watch movie with it.Built in speaker is really soft, so ended up using my laptop's speaker.Tripod provided is ok, as long as the surface you put it on is absolutely flat.Overall a great buy if you're looking for a portable, cheap projector.
