Exact fit. There are different fittings when replacing these durable knobs on the wall. Be sure to know which style under neath you need. Received quickly, packaged well and looks great. This was easy to put on. It worked as intended to control dimmable lights. Great functioning on the light level with the ease of turning knob.

I just bought my first house and got it painted. The painters took off all the switch covers but left me to buy and replace them. I needed to take off the dimmer knobs to replace the switch cover. And since the originals looked dirty and discolored to me, I figured this is as good a time to replace them. Since I just bought the place, I had no idea what model these knobs were or how to shop for them. I took a gamble and got four of these replacements from Amazon, but I lucked out and they ended up being the right fit! I will attach pictures if you also have no idea what type to buy. If yours matches my original ones (the cream ones with the word ‘Lutron’), then these replacement knobs (white with no words on them) should (?) work for you. I also am including what the backs look like, as this so important for if it will click on. My original knobs were able to be pulled off with a little pressure. Then these new ones popped on relatively easily. Unfortunately I think my painters pulled off one of the rubber (?) stopper things that go on over the metal piece under the knob. So one of my knobs doesn’t slide on smoothly. The other three work fine. I am now likely going to be on a search to replace that as well. Anyway, I’ve only had the knobs like one day. But I think they look fine. I just think they’re very generic looking and the original ones seemed ‘nicer’ (I liked the Lutron words on it). I also wished there was more direction or labeling (by Lutron) on knowing if yours was correct. One of my switches couldn’t work with this, as it has a different peg. Having model numbers written inside the cap would be helpful.

Working well. It wasn’t an exact fit but I didn’t look at the pictures to closely. My husband drilled a little piece off the back so it’s functioning just fine. It arrived on time too. Looks great and blends in.

This product worked perfect on my old light switch. This switch is probably 30+years. I was unsure if it would fit based as the back does not look the same as the switch but it fit perfectly. Easy to install and a great price.

Does not fit over standard Switch Dial Prongs. This item isnt able to be returned or refunded either , not a huge loss. But wanted to give future purchasers a heads up!
