If you like coffee roasted toward the lighter end of medium (and a pretty good caffeine kick), I recommend this coffee -- it's quite tasty.I ordered 96 of the 2.5 oz. bags. Each one makes a strong 10-cup pot and the beans stay fresher because I don't open the bag until I'm ready to make the coffee. I appreciate the convenience of not having to scoop & measure more than I expected to, particularly first thing in the morning.

This is my very favorite diner, breakfast place, city, beach and more recently office coffee. Amazon makes this so easy. And it comes direct from Lacas. We opened a new regional office and instead of using a coffee service (apologies to those who are employed at those places) and purchased a very nice commercial grade coffee maker and had Amazon supply the rest. It's just as easy if not easier. And better, this incredibly delicious coffe became price competive. Enjoy!!

Cost averages out to about $6 per pound, which is what you would pay for any premium brand. Comes in individual foil packets so it stays fresh.

The only negative is how it's packaged. I'd prefer fewer larger bags of coffe.Too much wasted package material.

I love having breakfast at the Penrose Diner in Philly. Great breakfast and great coffee. I was talking about it one day to someone I know and he said he was a seller of Lacas and covered the diner. Great to know it's available so I don't limit myself to only getting it at the Penrose.
