Genuine Pepsi soda stream syrups, I couldn't find them any cheaper on any other platform and taste like Pepsi, would recommend.

I’ve been using this Pepsi Max SodaStream syrup for a while now, and overall I’m really impressed with how close it gets to the real thing. It arrived well packaged, and being an official SodaStream x Pepsi product, it definitely feels like a proper, branded item rather than a generic alternative. Straight away, it gave me confidence that the taste would be on point. Taste-wise, it’s very close to actual Pepsi Max. I use a SodaStream Terra and tend to add a bit more carbonation than recommended (around six bursts instead of five), which gives it that extra fizz I prefer. When prepared like that, it tastes really good — honestly very similar to the real drink. If you compare it side by side with a can, you can tell a slight difference, but on its own it’s more than satisfying. There’s no unpleasant aftertaste either, which is something I was a bit concerned about. It has that familiar Pepsi Max flavour and goes down just like the regular drink. Each bottle goes a long way as well. You can easily get around 9 litres per bottle, or even more depending on how strong you like it, so it’s quite flexible and works out well for regular use. It’s not just me using it either — the whole family drinks it, and even guests have commented on how good it tastes. It’s one of those things that people don’t expect to be this close to the original until they try it. In terms of value, I bought it on sale and it made a big difference — it was about £11 cheaper than the usual website price, which worked out at roughly £4 per bottle. At that price, it’s an absolute bargain. Compared to buying cans regularly, it works out cheaper over time, and personally I also see it as a slightly better option since you can control how you make it. Overall, I’d definitely recommend it if you already have a SodaStream and enjoy Pepsi Max. It’s convenient, tastes great, and offers really good value for money.

We have bought this on repeat several times now as it is reliably good taste and feels like good value for money. The taste is great and if you like the ready-mixed pepsi max flavour, you won't be disappointed. Is it good value compared to buying ready mixed pepsi? Generally yes, it works out a little cheaper. At time of purchase it was £29.44. Six bottles making 9 litres each works out at at around 55p a litre. My current soda steam gas bottle (using the exchange old bottle to bring down costs) is about 25p a litre, so this works out at 80p a litre. If you ignore supermarket deals, this roughly equates to around 20-30p cheaper (obviously, this is based on my local shops and current pricing, if the exact amount of saving is important, please do your own local research). However, for me, the real saving is in the space storage. 6 bottles of this mix is a lot less to store than 27 2l bottles of pepsi. It is also a lot less plastic to bring in the home. The max version is the one without sugar (does have aspartame and sucralose), zero fat, zero carbs, and just a tiny amount of salt (thanks to the preservative).

I've had a sodastream for around a month and I love these. It tastes very similar to the original Pepsi Max, however I do wish it could be a bit more alike. Overall, I highly recommend.

Liked the flavour. But found the recommended measure made the drink too strong for my taste. Ok when I put less mixer in

If you enjoy Pepsi Max, you’ll find these to be good quality. 6 bottles that each make up 9 litres is great value at around the £23 mark, but the price is starting to creep up and is normally now between £26 and £33. At that price I’m not as convinced they are value for money, but the ease of use and reduced plastic makes it still seem worthwhile. The taste is very similar to what you’d get in regular bottles, although I do find them to taste more like flat Pepsi max. This may just be because it’s a SodaStream system, nothing to do with the actual syrups. I’ve marked it 4/5 for value simply because the price is going up quite considerably, but if you can find these around the £23 make, they’re great value for money.
