it is rated at 5000 rpm - I do not know about a miter saw

Can this blade cut 6" non-pressure pvc pipes?

The blade is for cutting metal. I think that any attempt to us it to cut PVC or any type of plastic would be extremely dangerous because this ABRASIVE blade would MELT the plastic due to friction. The melted plastic would then solidify again and grab the abrasive wheel causing it to burst.
