Take it from the Queen of Static, THIS WORKS!!
HALLELUJAH! Sorry, just had to get that out of the way. People are always complimenting me on my hair. "Oh it's so soft and shiny, I'm so jealous!" they say as they pet me. Yes, when properly cared for, fresh after a shower, my hair is very soft and shiny and straight. What they don't realize are the battles I fight on a daily basis to keep it looking ok. My hair is thin and baby fine and stick straight. It won't hold a curl to SAVE MY LIFE, it quickly becomes tangled, easily loses volume, becomes limp and lifeless and gets oily. I have to brush it ALL THE TIME. The worst problem is probably the static, especially in the winter. Every time I take off my coat it's like I'm back in 8th grade science class with my hand on the Van de Graaff generator. They always used me as the guinea pig for those things because my hair responds the best (see pics for my hair type). I have tried EVERYTHING to reduce the static in my hair from expensive shampoos and conditioners to sandalwood hair brushes. I carry lotion and dryer sheets with me everywhere and when I'm in a pinch I pull out a dryer sheet or lather up my hands with lotion and rub some into the ends of my hair if I'm really desperate, but this either leaves my hair weighed down and dull/greasy or makes my head smell like apple mango tango. I bought this stuff in hopes of helping me with my problem prior to traveling to Arizona where my family lives for not one but 2 extended family photo shoots in a single weekend. It's even drier in AZ than where I live and I was worried my flying hair would ruin the picture. It arrived just in time and I was THRILLED that it actually worked! I will say for the price I was expecting a bigger bottle, but whatever. After I wash and dry my hair, I spray one spritz of this stuff onto my hair brush and brush the ends of my hair up about half way at most. After brushing half my head, I spray one more spray and do the other side. I don't use this on the top of my head at all. That seems to be enough to last for several hours or the whole day depending on what else I do. For example, if I walk through wind and need to brush my hair many times, I'll probably need more, but if I do, I usually will spray it on my palms, rub together and then rub my palms over the ends of my hair once more and that will do the trick! I still keep dryer sheets with me since they're easier to tote in my bag than this bottle of spray, but I find myself using less and less dryer sheets than I ever have! This spray is TRULY scentless, which is just fine with me! I like being able to choose what I want my hair/head to smell like while still eliminating static. I appreciate that. Yes, this is expensive. Yes, this will weigh your hair down if you use too much or spray it directly on your hair. Yes, the bottle is kinda small. BUT IT WORKS!!! I'm a huge fan and will probably be a lifelong user if it continues to work this well for me. For the record I did NOT receive this product for free or at a discount. Hope this helps!

Life saver on very long thick super fine hair.
So happy to have found this! Iโve used infusium leave in since the early 90โs for static control on my tons of super fine hair, but I donโt love the ingredients. This is a much better option with minimal ingredients and works well. I often just spray my brush and work thru my very long hair. Thanks for making this cleaner product, ever bit counts!

Good stuff! But see updates
Cuts down on static. Does not leave hair greasy. Works great...and I've tried lots of stuff! I used two new hair products when I reviewed this. Mistake! Shouldn't do and review. But I thought it was this spray that worked. Then, one day I didn't use the oil (Number 4 Lumiere d'hiver Fluoro5 Elixer Restore & Repair Oil, 2.0 fl. oz.) and just this product. Static was back. This helps but the oil was key. I just used one pump and rubbed my hands together and then through the hair (once it was dry), staying away from roots. If I use on wet hair or on roots it looked a little greasy. The oil had a nice soft scent. Hair was silky and shiny and static gone. I use the static spray on wet hair.

Gets rid of my static electricity and itโs fragrance free! The best combination I could ask for!
Exstatyk Review: This is specifically for static electricity frizz, not regular hair frizz. And it works! Itโs best if you put it in when your hair is damp. (So not soaking wet and not bone dry.) But sometimes when I forget, I do put a little in when itโs dry and then I wait until the spray dries in my hair (and itโs a little crispy at first), but then I run the flat iron over it real quickโฆ and when I do that, my hair is softer than ever! Sooooo soft! (But you wonโt have any crispiness or stickiness if you do it when itโs damp.) Donโt use too much. I usually spray a little in and then spread it around by running my fingers through it. I mainly use this in the winter months when static electricity is out of control. This stuff works like a charm! No static frizz! And it lasts until I wash my hair again (which is every other day and not a minute longerโฆ because going any longer is disgusting, ladies). I have severe allergies with asthma-like symptoms so I canโt do fragrances or weird chemicals of ANY kind. (Fragrances should be illegal where you canโt enter commercial businesses or hospitals if youโre wearing any.) Anyway, this doesnโt have any fragrances in it and I can breathe just fine with it. The best part is, it works! It gets rid of the static electricity in my hair! They should make this for clothes too! (Also, fragrance free, of course.) To the makers: If you ever stop making this, please notify me in advance within 10-12 business years. Thank you!

attracts dirt
I read a few reviews that said this product makes your hair greasy. I assumed they just used too much of it. I sprayed one light spray on my hairbrush from about 10 inches away and brushed through my hair. It left my hair slightly greasy and by the end of the day my hair felt dirty to the touch and rough-textured. I think it attracted an held any dirt from the wind, etc. It was moderately good at staving off static flyaway but is not worth the dirty hair.

If You're Looking For Disgusting Hair...
This product leaves my finely textured, stick straight hair bizarrely, simultaneously, greasy, dry & bursting with static electricity. I have used this product for 1 week, applying exactly as specified on the label & it has utterly & completely failed. When following the exact directions didn't work, I tried altering the product amount & application method. Every single combination left my hair with a dry, greasy film & MORE static electricity. Amazing. If your hair can be tamed by a dryer sheet, or if you really don't suffer from chronic static electricity hair, this is the product for you... However, if you actually have non-stop, year round, static electricity coursing through your hair, keep on looking. Sigh.

Static poster child no more!
I have fine, long, straight hair; I live in New England where the heating season is long; and I wear a lot of fleece because I'm always cold. Put it all together and I'm the poster child for static. I tried 6 or 8 other antistatic products before stumbling on ExStatyk. Some were intended for clothing, some for hair. I even tried a couple of industrial antistatic sprays. None of them worked as well as ExStatyk -- they tend to wear off within 2 or 3 hours -- and most of them smell awful. (What is UP with Static Guard? their original scent has to be nastiest odor anybody ever paid money for.) ExStatyk has no detectable scent, thank goodness, and it lasts like crazy -- use it Monday morning and you're good till Tuesday night or even Wednesday morning if you don't wash it out. Brushing doesn't seem to slow it down. Use ExStatyk sparingly! I gave it top "value for money" marks because a little bit goes a very long way. (It's not cheap, but at the rate I'm using it my 4 oz bottle will last more than a year.) I never push the pump all the way down -- just put a few tiny spritzes on your brush, do a few quick, light strokes all around your head, then do a more thorough brushing to work it through. In addition to its antistatic awesomeness, ExStatyk has a mild smoothing effect that I like. It's very light and doesn't make my hair stiff or greasy. I've rarely come across a product that solved a problem so perfectly.

This actually works for static!!
After reading Kate's review I was so hopeful and this product has exceeded my expectations. My hair is baby fine and very silky. For reference, braiding my hair is a major struggle. In the winter my hair looks like I rubbed a balloon on my head. Before this product I would put lotion on my hands and run my fingers through the ends of my hair in order to get rid of static, but this only worked for about 1 hour. I then turned to dryer sheets and took one with me everywhere I went. After getting tired of having to carry about a very strong smelling dryer sheet, I turned to amazon. I am so glad I stumbled upon this product. It really does work well. I either spray about 3 sprays on my brush and brush the ends of my hair or I spray about 3 sprays on my hands and run my fingers through the ends of my hair. I wouldn't suggest spraying the product directly onto your hair. This product has no smell. Bye static!

Actually works on static
Ive been searching for something that helped at static and not just frizz. I live in the north and could never wear my hair down in the winter without my hair sticking to everything and my face. This helps sooooo much. Only need a little, about 1 or 2 pumps, it's not a spray its more of an oil. Does not leave your hair oily.

Really works!
Finally, an anti-static product that works!! After spending $$$ on other products that claim to be removed static, the only thing that ever worked for my hair was Static Guard. Until now! I must be highly charged because I battle hair static year round. I'm so happy I finally found a product that works and doesn't make my hair stink like Static Guard did, and is actually good for my hair. Thank you Scionse Pro, worth every penny!

Worth it!! So good!
Okay, I live in Alberta Canada, waaaayy high up in the rocky mountains, and the air is stupid dry here. I already have extremely dry hair and skin, so everything is static city for me in the winter. This. Stuff. Is. AMAZING!!! I have taken my scarves on and off, my fleecy coat, my knitted hats on and off with zero problem of static! It is a life changer and I will order more when mine runs out!!
