Organic Pinto Beans

I cook a pot of fresh pinto beans every week but found my local health food store hasn’t been getting stocks so tried Doualah farms and found them to be wonderful beans fresh and full of flavor,price fair for the quality

Great brand and delicious product. I ordered 5lbs. Next time I'll likely order a lot more if it's available.

I would give them zero stars but I can’t! These are expensive beans, for me to have received such cheap quality product. They are old, very dark and extremely difficult to cook. They took over fours to cook and are still hard and they kept foaming up while cooking!

The beans are small and have a lot of debris and bad beans in them that need to be removed before cooking. Also while sorting through the beans, my fingers became covered in a strange looking greenish powder. Which leads me to believe the beans better be rinsed thoroughly before cooking- perhaps several times. They do take longer to cook than normal and only taste ok.
