When I worked at a camp last summer, I was outside 12+ hours a day and was getting burnt a bit before I built up a base coat. I had been searching for a natural aloe Vera because the drug store stuff is awful and this is hands down the best aloe Vera I’ve used besides straight from the plant!! Within a day of using it, my skin is significantly better and I just now bought my second bottle!! It’s pure aloe and my skin loves it and it’s also my favorite moisturizer for my face, it helped heal a lot of my acne because of the anti-microbial properties in aloe!! I’m absolutely obsessed with this product and I never write reviews but I felt the need to write one about this! I’ve put so many other people on this product as well because a lot of my friends get burnt and needed a good aloe gel!

However, I am taking off one star because it’s marketed as “organic,” but after checking the ingredients, it’s not fully pure aloe. It does contain added ingredients like citric acid and potassium sorbate, which may matter if you’re specifically looking for 100% raw or additive-free aloe. Overall, it’s a good product and works well for general skin soothing, but just be aware it’s not completely organic as advertised.

I love that it comes in this huge size because I use a lot of it! Doesn’t smell bad and it’s a nice consistency that I can use to blend into other products or to easily apply. It is very smooth on my skin and doesn’t cause any irritation. I also use it in my hair before applying styling product. It absorbs easily and doesn’t create any weird residue.It does everything I need. I love it!
