Great for hiking; light; dry fast; good odor control

Icebreaker just brought these back by popular demand, after having discontinued them a few years ago. They are as awesome as ever, and I'm so so glad they're back. They are super lightweight and breathable, dry quickly, and are very comfortable for everyday wear as well as heavy activity such as cycling and hiking. My previous pair is almost 5 years old, and just got it's first hole where I pull it up on the side with my dang nails. Shows absolutely no wear otherwise, color is still great and no failing elastic or thinning fabric. It's been super durable, I wear regularly and for everything, then just hand wash in the shower. I got a pair from Smartwool at the same time and it started falling apart years ago. These are for travel since they dry so quickly. These are my fave undies from them, because they offers the right amount of coverage and don't ride up at all. Also shows fewer panty lines (on me) than most bikini cuts.

I am a field biologist and was getting tired of my cotton underwear getting damp and shifting around during long days hiking from one site to the next. I winced at the price on these but went for it, and I am SO GLAD I did. They wick sweat really well and I was comfortable and dry all day despite the temperatures. I plan to continue wearing my less-expensive cotton pairs for every-day use, but I'll never spend a day in the field without a pair of these again.

Would recommend ride up a bit

These underwear are durable and soft they are even after washing and drying in a dryer. I wanted Merino wool underwear for travel and these held up and did not get as smelly as cotton underwear. You can wear them in hot and humid climates (Southeast Asia, Caribbean) without getting hot.

These are decent overall — good quality and they perform well, but I don’t find them as comfortable as my Woolly ones. They fit fine and handle moisture okay, but for all-day wear, Woolly feels softer and more breathable to me.

Bought these to go backpacking after years of buying completely synthetic hiking underwear. The complete synthetic no matter the brand was never what it was cracked up to be. Wanted something that would dry quick, be comfortable and not smell after days of backpacking. Looked at several brands and went with these based on timing I could get it, materials, and reviews. So glad I did. They stayed airy and dry the whole time after an 8 plus hour day of walking up and down mountains, which surprised me. Did the material hold a smell. Sort of, but not like other materials/brands I’ve bought. TMI I’m sure, but for women you want honesty about whether it will hold up and these do.

I absolutely love merino clothing and have dozens of Icebreaker items - my only complaint is the price! These 'shortie' style ones are more comfortable for me than the bikini briefs, but they're excellent for wearing on hot days as they wick sweat away and dry fast. Will buy more pairs if I see them in the sales!

Great natural Merino wool underwear!

J'adore les vêtements en laine mérinos et la marque Icebeaker. Leur brassière sont top mais alors pas les culottes !! C'est vraiment pas agréable. Je trouve le contact avec la laine désagréable et irritant .

Bewährte Qualität, gute Passform

Eine richtig gute Merinounterhose, die ich im Sommer und Winter zum Wandern trage und im Winter auch im Alltag. Der sog. Hipkini ist an den Seiten etwas breiter als der Bikini von Icebreaker und trägt sich daher noch besser und bequemer. Ich wasche sie in der Waschmaschine im Wollprogramm und mit Wollwaschmittel. Obwohl es sich um dünne Merinowolle handelt, die bei Icebreaker T-Shirts sehr empfindlich ist und schnell zu Löchern neigt, ist dies bei den Unterhosen anders. Ich kaufe sie aufgrund des hohen Preises nur im Angebot, aber dafür auch keine andere Marke mehr.
