I bought it for my 5-year-old’s birthday. He loves it, along with all the kids. It makes a nice loud honk noise when you squeeze it. It has held up after almost a year, respectable. The head does come off but is easy to put back on. Fun toy, recommended. Although my wife gets annoyed sometimes and hides it.

This rubber chicken is made from high quality cheap plastic. It squeaks at a repeatable frequency, allowing you to se chickens of different size to compose your very own musical masterpiece. It is a great value for the money. It is very safe, odor free. It has a cute appearance and is very playable. If you are in the mood for a squeaky chicken, this is the rubber chicken for you!

Although I feel a bit odd writing a review on a “chicken” pet toy that we purchased for our small mini-Schnauzer puppy (10 pounds), here goes. We saw these pet toys on Amazon and decided it would be a fun toy for him as he has lots of energy. We ordered the chicken and it arrived promptly. It arrived in a fancy box which was probably intended to suggest a high quality toy was enclosed. We gave the chicken to him, and he cautiously started tossing it around and playing with it. In less than two hours, one of the chicken’s feet had split and a dime-sized piece torn out, leaving a jagged edge. So we picked up the small piece and discarded it as it presented a choking hazard to our dog. The toy was also set aside out of his reach out of concern that more pieces would be produced. I should note that over the years we have purchased many, many pet toys. This is not rocket science; however, this particular chicken pet toy is made out of a sort of stiff plastic…not a rubbery material that we normally see in pet toys. The rubbery type withstands pulls, bites, and more rough-housing than this poor chicken toy could ever stand. He has many other toys that continue to survive, so I don't think we have an extraordinarily rough dog. Although there are many different dogs with different play habits, different bite strength, etc., for a toy to last less than two hours with a small, dog does not give us any confidence in the making of this product. Further, the fact that it produced small pieces that could choke our puppy was a concerning safety issue for us. So we would advise against purchase of this product. Bought this for our grand. The look on our kids faces was worth double the cost. I'm buying these for everyone now 😆

not a lot of options, but very funny. not as durable as i expected.

It’s more of a hard rubber than the real rubbery chickens that make a funny sounds. This one just had a squeak sound. Was not impressed.

Not so great for my dog as she will eat its face off until nothing is left of it. Worked great as a gag gift as well as a concert for my daughter for her band concert. Still all new all good purchases if your dig isn’t much of a chewer. Mine is and will destroy this faster than I can watch her. She lives the squeak too much. Good purchase either way if you don’t mind allowing your dog to destroy this pretty quickly.

My German Shepherd loves it. She doesn't rip apart rubber toys, just loves to fetch them. This is exactly how the website described the screaming chicken, and boy does it scream loud! lol
