Have worked reliably on rescued cats and dogs for a years now.
I had to update: These are an indispensable tool for taming strays and new adoptees. I have never had a bad reaction. I've had over thirty cats and dogs cats come through our home, from feral, starving and obviously abused to just discarded when their humans died or moved away. These calming tabs have never caused a reaction other than better sleep and an easier transition to being loved and cared for. I am so grateful for this harmless but effective tool that helps the discarded and abused animals recover from trauma to become adoptable. Thank you Pet Naturals! I've been using these regularly over a few years for all our rescues and have never had a bad reaction. The cats won't eat the tabs for "cats" but like the ones for Dogs AND Cats. These have never failed us. It took some time for our own cat to eat them, but now she does and I can finally sleep all night (she likes to groom me at 4 a.m.. For our rescued dogs, it really helps them adjust to new surroundings; cats, neighborhood dogs and noises, and new people. For our latest rescue, an abused, arthritic, and abandoned (on the street and helpless) Australian Shepherd cross, it has made the transition to a loving and quiet home easy for him and his health is improving because he is not stressed or worried. He gets two every night for now. He was having horrific, violent nightmares, but without making him groggy, these tabs have enabled his recovery and now peaceful sleep. Update: nine months later this old boy is sleeping peacefully at night, al night. Our Shelty gets them to help her adjust to the new rescues who come to us...the old boy we brought home in late December is respectful and they quickly adjusted. They have helped these two dogs with our latest (a week ago) rescue. This new girl (pit bull and something large and sleek) has also benefited greatly from these....adjusting to being cared for and loved unconditionally after being passed around and abandoned for years. Some of our rescues are not "adoptable" and remain with us. She is one of them; a large, sweet 10 yr old with terrible separation anxiety. Fortunately I do not have to work outside my home and she will remain with us. I tried the product made just for cats...but the cats won't eat them. The ferals will now eat the Dog/Cat version so that they don't have a collective stroke when I enter the room to feed them. And this Dog/Cat combo, broken up and mixed in strong smelling food, has finally allowed me to stroke them. Two of the remaining three now come up and rub against my legs. They will soon be adoptable themselves. It has taken two years to get this far, as they were not tiny kittens when their feral kitten mother finally brought them to me. They are beautiful, independent, mauve gingers (fur looks pink in muted sunlight) who would never have survived on my street! They now want to be petted by my hands as well as brushed, so will soon be in the adoption program. I could not have done this without this product. I These tabs have been indispensable for taming feral cats....but again, the product for dogs AND cats. These tabs benefited an insecure older rescued black German Shepherd we had until Spring 2021, adored by all the kittens and cats who have been fostered by us, before she passed from cancer. These calming chews helped her considerably as she began her decline...she felt less anxious and was loved by us all through the end.

Not a miracle worker, but close!
These are great for relieving stress in a multi-cat household. I have 2 young cats, a 3 year old female (Ginger) and a 2 year old male (Oliver). Ginger is a petite, anxious little thing weighing 8 lbs. Oliver is significantly more confident and built like a tank at 15 lbs. They were adopted around the same time, Ginger at 1 year and Oliver as a kitten. They became best friends and remained so for about a year, then we began having issues with the Oliver picking on Ginger. We think this was partly because of his age (an adolescent male trying to assert his dominance), and partly because he was feeling cooped up and bored during our long, gloomy winter. He requires a A LOT of stimulation and entertainment; without it, he becomes frustrated and destructive. Unfortunately, winter in the PNW means he can't enjoy two of his favorite activities: sunbathing and birdwatching from his favorite windows. Thus, frustration and boredom. It got to the point where he was attacking his poor sister multiple times a day. He would pounce on her--usually at vulnerable moments like just after she used the litter box or while she was drinking water--they would scuffle, and she would scream bloody murder. It was terrible. She was stressed and hiding all the time. He was stressed and looking for an outlet. I was stressed because my cats wouldn't stop fighting. I tried everything to make their home environment as enriching as possible. I provided them with a variety of toys and cat trees for climbing. I played ambient nature music for them while I was at work. I gave Oliver all of his meals in a food puzzle, and engaged him in interactive play time and regular training sessions (he is intelligent and food motivated and seems to enjoy learning tricks). Nothing stopped him from picking on our girl. Nothing seemed to be enough. I hated the idea of giving my cats pharmaceuticals to alleviate the tension in the house, but psych meds started to feel like the only option left to solve the behavioral issues we were facing. Enter these chews, which I basically bought out of desperation. I started giving them to both cats twice daily. One in the morning, one at night (their "night night chews" as we jokingly refer to them). I honestly noticed a difference within just a couple days. The cats were noticeably mellower. Oliver started antagonizing Ginger less. She stopped hiding all the time, and started playing more. It has now been a little over a month and the cats are doing much better. They still bicker, as all siblings do, but the all-out brawls have virtually ceased. They coexist peacefully. Also, they LOVE the flavor of these chews. They get so excited when I bring out the jar. If your cats aren't getting along and you are desperate for a solution that isn't kitty Prozac, I highly suggest you give these chews a try. For my cats, they have worked wonders and I intend to keep giving them (however, I will likely dial back to just one chew per day in the summer). I am ordering my second jar.

Great for relieving stress and anxiety in multi cat homes
We have two cats - one is 15 and the other is 6. Our older cat has always been anxious and skittish ever since she was a kitten, but she’s also been an outdoor cat while she lived at my parents house, and was able to handle her anxiety effectively in a natural environment. When I moved away I took her with me, and she was forced to become an indoor cat. Her anxiety skyrocketed and despite every attempt and trick nothing was working. We tried a more natural diet/food, more toys and interaction, pheromone sprays, separating the cats, changing litter, and nothing worked. As they aged, out you get cat began to feed off of or older cat’s anxiety and started getting aggressive. And while it wasn’t to the point of needing to rehome him, it only increased stress levels and caused all sorts of issues, like peeing outside the litter box, spraying issues, fighting over food, etc. I finally found these treats and decided to try them out. I had tried everything else and figured if this doesn’t work I’ll talk to the vet YET again and see what else can be done. I gave them each a treat with their dinner, and monitored their reactions closely for a couple of days. Not much happened, although my younger cat seemed to chill out a bit in the beginning. Overall the treats didn’t work immediately, but I stuck with it. I figured maybe it’s more of a cumulative thing, and I was right. I bought the treats in December and it’s now February, and the difference is incredible! My older cat no longer hides all day in a back corner of the second floor - instead, she goes up there to take her morning nap and comes down in the afternoon to relax with the family. She used to slink around the edges of the room to get to the kitchen for her food, and wouldn’t eat until my younger cat was gone. Now, she begs for treats, sprawls out in the sun, plays with toys (which she never did before!), and even curls up on the couch next to my younger cat to hang out with me. The younger one has even stopped chasing her around - now all he does is sniff her butt or ears and move off to find another place to hang out. The change is incredible and the stress-peeing has completely stopped! Long story short: this stuff is worth it, especially if you have tension between cats and stress issues. We never truly realized how much anxiety my older cat has until we started these. I can’t recommend these enough!

Acceptable results
Long acting for a 15 lb very rambunctious young cat (1 tab) per day when needed. Large pill; I have to quarter it to dose it. Calms him within an hour

They really help!
I’ve used these for my dogs-big and small, for years. They work very well and the dogs eat them readily. I used them just yesterday during a lightning and thunder storm.

Really helped my anxious, nervous rescue
I'm very conscious of the things I feed my cat, having previously adopted rescues with a variety of health and emotional/behavioural issues, so I did good research on these before purchasing them. I'm very pleased with how effective they've been for my recently adopted cat who has significant anxiety/nervousness issues, sometimes resulting in him hiding excessively and sometimes leading him to be overly aggressive during play. These chews, which he really enjoys as much as a regular treat, seemed to take the edge off for him from the first day of using them (note that I don't give them to him every day, just during times of noticeably greater stress). They appeared to help him feel more comfortable in coming out from under the bed - where he was hiding all day - and sitting with me instead, as well as calming him down a tad when he's getting a little too rambunctious (resulting in accidental but nonetheless painful injury to unwitting fingers!). I feel it's important to say they're not designed to act as a replacement for training or actively helping behavioural issues, which should be addressed in and of themselves, but they certainly complement both in his case and made the transition to a new home that much easier.

Not noticeable
Saw these on an Instagram ad. Wouldn’t say they work. My dog is 22kg. Gave him a couple.. nothing. Gave him 6-8.. nothing. Gave him 20-25 in one hour.. nothing. Not sure what the purpose is for these, because it’s defo not to calm a dog down. Maybe a 2kg dog or something?

Loves the taste but upset tummy
The animals loved them. As for being chilled, not at all. The dog is still very hyper and the cat does better on cat nip
