Great!
Simplicity is the key. Fobus got it right with this low cost harness, which accommodates the "Roto" family of attachments. It's simple yet effective. The only this I didn't like was the rectangular device for joining the two halves. I replaced it with a small key-ring. Other than that, I have no complaints. This was my first shoulder holster, so time will tell.

The requirement to have a screwdriver around to change the holster position is stupid and antiquated
fitment is awkward. You have to strap it to your pants to keep it from sliding around. The requirement to have a screwdriver around to change the holster position is stupid and antiquated.

I had no issues with Harness set: Remember it doesn't include holsters or mag holsters
This is a harness set for your FOBUS roto holsters (gun and mags). It is essentially a padded shoulder set with nylon straps coming down to a plastic Roto holster connector (Like a four inch triagle). What you do is remove the retainer screw on your roto holster and then move the holster to the harness and reuse your retainer screw to install the holster in the harness. You can then rotate the mag and gun holsters in the directions that feel the most comfortable. (vertical, horizontal, angled) It is ambidextrous for lefties and righties. I put the holster on loose with the mags and holster and then pulled each of the bottom nylon straps through my belt and then back up to the back of the strap where they connect with velcro. It fits fine. I tried without using the support straps through the belt and it seemed too loose.FYI: The first harness set that I received from the Amazon Warehouse was not even close to being a FOBUS it was in a FOBUS bag, but I had to send it back because it was not what I ordered.

Decent, inexpensive shoulder holster, but some limitations.
This is a decent shoulder holster harness if you can buy it for a low price, but it does have some limitations, especially compared to the better expensive leather shoulder holsters. If you are getting a shoulder holster for everyday wear (especially police or security), I'd strongly recommend instead buying one of the expensive leather shoulder holsters, which will be more comfortable, have better adjustment, and have a retaining thumbsnap for the gun. Yes, good ones are quite expensive, but they will last a long time and are well worth the price for everyday wear. There are reviews of the various shoulder holsters online if you do a Net search. The inexpensive nylon ones like this one generally have only fair reviews.Obviously with any shoulder holster you are going to have to wear a fairly loose jacket or sportcoat, probably one chest size larger than usual if you want to zip or button the jacket (have to experiment here to see what works). It isn't very practical for hot weather, unless your jacket is very lightweight material. With the Fobus Roto holster and magazine carriers attached, the rig is a bit bulky on both sides so you'll need a pretty loose jacket, or else the gun will "print" and show through the jacket. The expensive leather shoulder holsters hold the gun and magazines carriers closer to the body than the Fobus shoulder holster, which allows you to wear a better-fitting jacket and look more professional, if that is needed (see the old Clint Eastwood and Steve McQueen detective movies).Note that as many reviewers have written, the Fobus shoulder holster rig does NOT come with a gun holster or magazine holders as shown in the photo - it is just the harness. You have to buy the correct Roto holster and Roto magazine carrier separately. You buy one of the Fobus Roto holsters (paddle or belt) and Roto magazine holders and then unscrew them to mount to the shoulder holster harness. It doesn't work with the standard (non Roto) holsters or mag holders, because those are permanently riveted to the paddle and the belt attachments. Once you decide on the rotated position you want the holster and mag carrier, you may want to put a small dab of Shoe Goo or similar adhesive on the screw head to secure it, or put a tiny amount of blue Loc-Tite on the screw threads (both removable). (See below for info on carrying revolver speedloaders.)You can choose the angle at which you want to mount the holster and mag carrier, the best position possibly being angled up a bit from the horizontal. However, be aware (and this is important), that this rig really only works for small guns and some medium frame guns with short barrels A large gun is going to have the barrel sticking out the bottom of the Fobus holster and will print badly in back of your arm.As with all the Fobus holsters, you can adjust the level of holster retention with the diffrent screw that is on the holster so the gun "clicks" securely in place. There is no retentioin strap on the Fobus holster itself, but It is held fairly securely this way; however it can still come out if shaken very hard, especially with the gun mounted near the horizontal. So if you anticipate running with the holster or other vigorous activity (police or security), I'd again recommend a more expensive leather shoulder with a retaining thumb snap. If you mount the gun or magazines close to the vertical, you obviously have to hold your arm up somewhat to get the gun or magazines out. I believe there may be a Fobus YouTube video that shows the recommended mounting and use of this shoulder holster. You do have to take some time at first to get it adjusted for the best fit with the four sliding buckles on the shoulder straps, but once you do, it is set. The front and rear straps may need to be adjusted to different lengths to fit you correctly (just experiment). My shoulder holster came with the straps inserted so that the loose ends were underneath the buckles. I reversed this so the loose ends are on top, which is more comfortable. You can also sew up some elastic strap keepers if you want.Mine also came with Velcro side tie-down straps, but some reviewers said newer versions may come with some sort of elastic straps. The Velcro straps are sized for a person about 5' 6" to 5' 10" in height , so if you are taller or shorter, you may have to modify the straps or sew up similar longer or shorter straps ( or ask someone who knows how to sew - easy for them to do on a machine). The Velcro tie-down straps are fairly secure, but be aware that Velcro does wear out eventually. New Velcro can be sewn on later if it wears out. However, it would have been better to eliminate the Velcro and use a sliding buckle on one end of the strap and a snap or button on the other. Again, someone who knows how to sew could make better tie-down straps (see the online photos of the expensive shoulder holsters for ideas). Some reviewers said that the pads over the shoulder ride too high and close to the collar, however this can be adjusted a bit by making the two rear straps longer and the front straps shorter. Even so, some people may find the pads too close to the collar for all-day comfort. You will obviously need to wear a shirt with a good fitting collar and not a very loose neck T-shirt, or the pads could rub your lower neck.I don't believe Fobus makes a Roto revolver speedloader case that can be used with this shoulder holster. But it may be possible to improvise with certain speed-loader cases lashed to the other plastic panel of this shoulder holster. However, this can feel very bulky with one or two speed-loader cases under your arm. Obviously you can instead wear speedloader cases or a flat speedstrip case on your belt. There are some good leather speedloader cases made that fit close to the belt (see reviews online).SAFETY NOTE: Drawing a gun from a shoulder holster can be unsafe using the improper method of swinging the barrel in a wide arc in front of you. Do a Net search on "how to safely draw from a shoulder holster" for info and videos on how to do it safely.Because of the potential safety issue, a shoulder holster should generally not be worn at a shooting range or in a shooting class. Ranges may prohibit them (ask first) except for police/security training, since many people don't know how to draw from one safely, and since the muzzle is pointed backwards when the gun is drawn.

Great covert rig
This Sholder holster. for both pistol & double magazine holder, as I have it set up. it took.some time to fit And adjust for cumfort. Although this is just the harness, I already had the Fobus outside carry holster and mag holder, this is an easy change out, depending oh how I want to carry. Would recomend

looks can be decieving
ordered this product and when I opened the package it looked NOTHING like what I thought I was purchasing according to the picture! Very disappointing!!! Not only that it was too big!! I ordered big because I thought it was according to body type........ guess not very unclear on that aspect. Very flimsy, too much Velcro, just a very very poor product!!
