My second Sutera Zen pillow,I love it. It has a faint smell of lavender,which is very pleasant.

I love the firmness of this pillow. The size, thickness, and height work well for me. Since purple is my favorite color, of course I love the color of the pillow. The only disappointment for me is the cooling effect. I tend to sleep very warm, and this pillow doesn't keep cool as I was expecting. I am still going to need to find a cooling pad to use. I do have neck issues, as my discs are herniated. This pillow definitely helps alleviate some of my usual neck pain upon waking. Others had mentioned the odor. I find the aroma of lavender relaxing, so it doesn't bother me at all.

This is the second pillow ordered for the same person. They love it, obviously, but it does lose the signature scent faster than you would expect. I did order the refresh mist when the scent diminished, but it was unavailable due to a supply issue. I placed a back order, expecting that the published discount would apply when resupply occured. That didn't happen. They lost my order. I discovered this after receiving an email advertising the product due to my past interest. Well, still interested, so I ordered 4 units at full price. I reckoned that they would be appreciated sooner or later. As it happens, the pillow is a bit sad after 3 happy Years of use, so I purchased the current replacement, and the remaining mist refreshers will eventually be put to good use. I do recomended the product, based on the happy response of the recipient. What more can one ask?

What do you get when you infuse polyurethane memory foam with lavender essential oil? Nothing that smells lavender infused. It smells like perm solution! It dissipates after about 24 hours or so, so you want to take it out of the packaging as soon as you get it and let it breathe for about 24 hours. You won’t be able to sleep with it, honestly the smell is unbearable. I tried! Once the smell is gone, there is no smell at all of lavender. So the whole lavender infused thing is a gimmick. The only thing lavender about the pillow is the color. Next, comfort. I’m a person with lots of neck issues and I’m never comfortable. I go through pillows like nobody’s business! I spend money on so many pillows, and I’m never happy with any of them. I lasted about three nights of comfort on this pillow which is why it’s getting three stars. I had to switch back to my old pillow. I will go back to this pillow again, when the pillow I am sleeping on becomes uncomfortable. And so on and so on. So, this is my current new pillow in rotation. Now I need to find another pillow to replace that other rotation pillow! My neck will never be satisfied!
