My wife loves to make sushi at home and is very much into the presentation as well. We have the bento box type plates...the fancy chopsticks and NOW she even has the fake grass the restaurants all put on their plates as well. Listing is incorrect. Made in China, not Japan
The listing is incorrect and should be updated. The sushi leaves are made in China, not Japan. There was a material test done in 2002 with test results printed on the side of the box. It was in Japanese. I Google translated it to English and attached the results. I’m guessing there have been changes in the allowances for cadmium, lead or heavy metals since 2002 and the information only says “suitable”. I don’t feel comfortable using.
