I bought mine during the Prime Day sale, which made the value even better, but honestly, it's worth it at the regular price too! It’s enough to make it feel like a real treat for the kids without being too much for the parents to manage later. Non-Candy Treat: I much prefer handing out a fun, creative item like Play-Doh rather than more candy. The kids genuinely love getting to take home their own little modeling compound. Mom-Approved Engagement: Seriously, I gave one to my own child just to test it out, and she were instantly obsessed! She played with it so well that I had to quickly hide the rest of the package so they wouldn't try to open all 42 cans at once. That's how you know it's a guaranteed hit! Constructive Suggestions (Hoping Play-Doh is Listening!): I do have a couple of suggestions that would make this set absolutely perfect, especially for younger kids and classroom use: Scent Reduction: While Play-Doh's scent is iconic, I really wish the distinctive smell was a little milder. Sometimes, when you open the whole box, the scent can be quite strong. A lighter or less noticeable fragrance would be a welcome change. We Need a Primary Color Option: The current assortment includes a nice variety of bright, fun shades (neons, pastels, etc.), but I would LOVE to see a similar bulk pack focused just on primary colors (Red, Yellow, Blue, Green, etc.). That would be fantastic for teaching color mixing and for themes that require classic colors. Final Verdict: This 42-pack of Play-Doh is fantastic. It takes the stress out of goodie bag planning, the colors are beautiful, and the bulk value is excellent. A definite five-star win for any event for kids.
