Artistic Weavers Desta Vintage Oriental Area Rug, 7'10" x 10'2", Blue/White

I am really disappointed with this rug. I really liked it when it arrived. The colors are really pretty, it is soft to the touch and for a couple of weeks it looked really good on my floor. Then it started developing humps at first on the edges and then throughout the whole rug. Stretching it out on the ends does not help; the humps just return. Also it is not at all resistant to pet stains (in this case, cat puke), even after using a good commercial carpet cleaner specifically made for pet stains. I am replacing it with a different rug.

I scoured the internet for hours to find a rug for our living room. I have 2 dogs and a toddler so I was not willing to pay top dollar for a fancy rug. I read reviews and understood that this was not going to be a thick, plush rug so it completely met my expectations. The colors and design is beautiful and with a rug pad underneath it is comfortable to walk on. Would absolutely recommend for the price!

I like the vibrancy, but it's not like regular carpet, the pile is very low and spread apart it is made in Turkey and made out of some kind of plasticky pile (but it is soft) Pic attached. It isnt that thick but it is good for pet accidents and in the event something gets spilled on it. Not what I expected but still beleive it was worth the money.Fast forward 6 mths: my dog peed on it and stuff has been spilt on it. All stains have come out with a little scrubbing but DO NOT wash it. When it gets it gets really wavy and no longer will lay flat 😥... If your looking for a large rug that is nice on ur bar feet and easy to clean then this is for you. If you are looking for a while rug that is high pile, heavy duty super soft then this carpet isn't for you.

LIkes:Size- great for what I need (two desks put together in a shared officeColors-I got the blue rug and although it is bright, it's not perfectly even on both sides of the rug. Meaning there is blue tones but one part of the rug has a more subtle blue- love it. Easily able to hide other imperfections I can imagine.Quality- able to roll around the run on an office chair, low pile for easy vacuuming, and able to use right out of the packagingOverall, I would buy this rug again but if I were to put it in my living room, I'd definitely add a protector/padding for underneath as it is a low profile! Also, as I have desks helping lay it flat, if placed in the living room / out in the open, the edges/sides would need to be worked out a little to get the wrinkles/ripples out!

This rug is really nice. If you trying to coordinate it to anything that’s cream or beige, it will clash. There is a lot of gray in this rug. It’s basically off-white, navy with areas that look more like denim blue, and quite a bit of gray. But gray is very on trend right now, so if you’re trying to match it to a gray sofa or other furnishings it would be perfect.
