It’s good enough! The Ryzen 7 CPU, 3060 GPU combo makes it one of the best budget laptops out there excelling at Games, Multimedia and creative tasks. Very attractive gray color and design gives the G15 a retro yet modern look. Its Top of the line wifi card, and ethernet port are a very welcome edition. My only few complaints with this model, is the lack of Arabic key layouts, subpart IO (needs more USB Ports), terrible Alienware software which is required to run the turbo mode (G mode), and lack of second mounting bracket for the second SSD Slot forcing you to buy it separately if you choose to upgrade. Its a must to run dell’s update manager software to get the latest bios update 1.16.0 to avoid the overheating issue, or manually searching for it on dell’s website. All in all, solid and would recommend if you are looking for mid range budget laptop that can run games and newer titles for the next 3/5 years, and will definitely last longer with this sturdy build.

I bought it in Dec 2023 and it was working good bug getting hot very fast and need cooler for games and it was made from plastic with less quality and on July 2023 suddenly it is not turning on until now, i am looking forward to send it to dell service center, still waiting for invoice

It took quite a while to make the decision, which laptop to buy & I have made a great choice. Dell makes sturdy laptops that last & the specs are great on this one, 15.4" screen, USB 3 & USB 2 connectors, very crisp screen, keyboard has a nice touch it also has a very fast boot time. The only issue that keeps irritating me is the touchpad right and left buttons could be marked out visually. Happy with my choice.

What can I say apart from what a fantastic gaming laptop my 9 year old loves it, don’t be put off about the housing etc being plastic it seems they have improved from the 2015 gaming model, this seems to be a lot stronger plastic. I hooked this up to a 43 inch tv and getting a solid 60fps on overwatch, black ops 2/3 and the new ori game, from previous comments people are saying the fans are quite, well that’s not true there loud but not as loud as previous models, dell are known for loud fans, and it’s even better once overclocked 🤪 also this is not the older 5000 model as advertised its the 5590 model, amazon change the description please. Edit: I have had the laptop for a few days now and I really don’t know where dell pick there battery hours from? Maybe a hat 😂 quoted 4 to 5 hours is not true, gaming your looking at a hour, work/ browsing 3 hours with the screen turned down half way and the key back light off, streaming movies or YouTube ?2 hours at a push, I would strongly recommend getting the one with the upgraded battery.

Bought it for work but wanted to be able to play games occasionally. Very good design, lightweight, worked perfectly. Power cable a bit too big and heavy though, and a minor detail is that it is a bit "longer" than other laptops so fits a bit tighter in a backpack. Other than that, 10/10.

Love this laptop. It is so easy to use, has a wonderful clear screen, and is my best purchase this year. I can recommend it to anyone looking for a new laptop.
