My husband has developed plantar fascists and has been suddenly suffering from intense foot pain... which I can totally understand because I've had the same foot affliction for several years. The only thing that has helped for me is good shoe insoles and good shoes. We're retired and He has been mainly wearing slip on shoes like Van's and teva sandals and Crocs, which neither has any real support. We live in a warm climate so there is year round lawn mowing and swimming pool cleaning etc. So I decided to see what I could find him that works as a casual slip on shoe for everyday stuff as well as something that can be worn out to eat etc. Yet be orthopedic. When I found these on Amazon I just had to get them! The reviews are good and these have that hands-free slip-on ability ( like Sketchers only these are even better for one's feet) so I bought him the denim color in size 13. He wears a 13 in most shoes, and these fit him just right. As soon as he put them on he just made a nice "ahhhhh" sound of relief. He says they're extremely comfortable. These come with another type of insole that you can swap with the ones that arrive already inside the shoes. He says that both insoles feel great but will have to experiment to see which is best during long-term wear. He told me his feet haven't hurt and for that I'm super happy!! Now I'm going back to buy him some more pairs of different colors. Oh BTW another nice thing is that these are really nice looking shoes! They don't look like orthopedic shoes AT ALL!! Love that. Also, their not heavy, the quality is excellent and time will tell about durability.

Forget all these AI written reviews. I work outside on my feet about 80% of the work week and I have plantar fasciitis and my heel started hurting again so I gave these shoes a try. My foot pain basically disappeared after wearing them for a day, maybe two and it hasn't been back. It also doesn't come back when I wear other shoes now. These shoes are great and they also come with an extra set of inserts which is a good bonus.

I bought these for my husband to take on a 17 day trip to Scandinavia. He's size 13 and they fit great. He had an injury to his foot years ago, and the foot tends to swell if he's up on it a lot. He loved them (and didn't need to break them in first). Said they are very comfortable. My only complaint is that they make quite a bit of noise when he walks around in them. Sounds like he's got bubble wrap in his shoes! But even with that, he wants me to order another pair for him

It is so lightweight you will hardly know you have shoes on. I loved the color grey and I'm sorry that I must send them back. It took so long to come I had forgotten that I had ordered them . actually I thought I had cancelled the order. Now I wish I hadn't bought a pair at a local store. I like these better. Well, that's the way it goes when your old. I just turned 94.

These shoes are comfortable and helpful once they are on. Getting the shoes on though is a challenge.. there is no tab on the back, and I need to fight to get it folded back up so it doesn't jab my heels all day. The inserts are nice for support, but after a few days I noticed they're a little loose in the shoes and they have started squeaking whenever I'm walking. Bottom Line: they do help, but they definitely need some design changes to be something I would fully recommend to someone

I use this slip-on shoe as my everyday "inside" walk around slippers in the house. I have flat feet and require arch support. The quality of construction is very good, however over time the "inside" lining on the sides and heel of the shoe have become worn, exposing the inner foam structure after 2-3 years, while everything else held up very well. Other than this, I find them very comfortable and supportive. I just bought a second pair.

It’s convenient because you can choose the option that works best for you. My son wears them with pleasure and says they are very comfortable. They are not the lightest shoes, but I wouldn’t call them heavy either - about 2 out of 5. Overall, the shoes are very comfortable, look nice, and are great for everyday wear.
