Great unit at a decent price-point. Works perfectly.
This review will be in two parts: Installation and Use Installation: I bought after weeks of research (and reading reviews on over a hundred such devices.) When it arrived, I unboxed everything and made sure I had all the parts. I did. Read the instructions. Simple enough. They supplied a replacement braided line for the wall-valve. I didnโt really need it, but decided to use it anyway. I did a trial fit of the device. Everything looked like it would fit correctly. I then attached all the water lines to the various pieces. This unit comes with a shut-off valve for the bidet feed. Most donโt. Thatโs good to know right there. (Such a valve can be a life saver if the device itself starts to leak.) Once the various bits were attached and tightened, I installed the unit itself and toilet seat, and made the recommended positional adjustments. I tightened everything down. Then it was time to shut off the water supply and flush the toilet to drain the tank. Itโs important to hold the flush lever down until all the water is drained from the tank. Once done (mind you, I did all this while seated next to the commode, not while sitting on the floor), it was time to remove the old water supply hose. That required being on the floor. Laid down a couple towels, and it was time to get โup close and personalโ with the wall valve and supply line. The fitting on the underside of the tank was only hand tight, and came off immediately. I then installed the โTโ valve to that fitting, and the feed line to the bidet attachment was next. (I couldnโt attach that piece before the T valve was tight.) All that was left was the braided water feed line. Top first, then to the valve. Everything went smoothly. I *gently* opened the valve. No leaks. Got up from the floor, then lifted the lid and tried the bidet valve itself. It just kind of burbled, but no leaks. Upon turning it off, discovered that the little plastic squirter arm hadnโt retracted properly into the โbay.โ Felt around behind it and realized that the unit had to move forward about a quarter inch. Loosened up the seat, then pulled the unit forward. Retightened and tried again. Perfect! Note that the toilet seat needed taller โbumpersโ. Fortunately, Iโd ordered those as well. Stuck โem on, and everything is great. The mount for this is called โultra-thin.โ Why is that important? Two reasons: 1) a heavy person could easily collapse the mount and ruin the unit, and 2) the seat fits close to the porcelain like normal. I like simple and robust design. I wasnโt going to get a โbidet replacement seatโ because theyโre cheap junk unless you pay hundreds of dollars ($400-$700) and I couldnโt afford it. Also, the size of the hole in those seats is much smaller than a normal one. Not good if youโre big. A regular-size person could install this unit in 15-20 minutes. It took me about 45 from pulling the old seat to final adjustment (it was time to replace the toilet seat as well, which took some extra time and prep.) No plumberโs tape or thread dope is used on this install. Over-tightening the various fittings is the primary cause of leaks. Easy does it. Usage: Tried it for the first time this morning. The โrearโ water jet was absolutely on-target. I mean, not a quarter inch off. The jet pressure is adjustable, and there was good ramp-up from off to full. Iโm a big man, so it was important that I get something thatโs well made. This unit appears to be just that.

This is what clean feels like
This is my first bidet so I do not have another product to compare it to but this is not rocket science. There are a lot of good (long) reviews out there so I will keep this one short and to the point. I am male, 5โ7โ and I purchased the attachment version (with bottom and feminine wash) not the more expensive one-piece version. Pros: โข Leaves you clean - This bidet hands down leaves you cleaner than toilet paper or baby wipes. โข Bulls-Eye - water hits right where it should. You can move slightly if need be. I do not think it would be necessary to adjust the unit itself as long as it is all the way back as the directions indicate. โข Excellent customer service - Customer service send an install video before you even receive the product. I have a Kohler toilet and was concerned that this product would not work based on the description on the Amazon page. Customer service responded within 24 hours and ensured me that it would. I suggested that they reword the section regarding known toilets that this product does not work with. It must only be referring to one piece toilets. โข Install - Very easy and took about 20-30 minutes only because I wanted to make sure I was doing it correctly. I liked the first one so much, which went into my wifeโs bathroom, that I purchased a second one for my bathroom and the install took only about 15 minutes. โข Asthetically pleasing - Looks good, very sleek and low profile compared to other bidets. โข Cost savings - Will save some money on baby wipes and toilet paper. โข Attachment vs one-piece - Some reviewers of attachment type bidets complain that they raise the back of the seat so much that it feels like they are about to slide off. The manufacturer of this attachment bidet did a good job keeping it sleek and although it does raise the back of the seat ever so slightly, it is still pretty level and I cannot honestly feel a difference at all. At first, there was a finger nail gap between the seat and the bowl and the seat would not physically touch the bowl unless you pressed down a little. It took about 2 days for the seat to settle with the attachment so that the the seat closes all the way down and there is no give when you press down on the front of the lid. Cons but not really: โข Sometimes I turn the knob the wrong way โby mistakeโ, which is the feminine wash, and get the boys wet; but that is more user error. โข If this product came with a little blower like they have in bathrooms for your hands, I would give this product 10 stars. Itโs easy enough to use toilet paper to dab dry but you have to be careful not to leave little pieces of toilet paper were they ought not to be. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who wants a clean just out of the shower feeling after you do the do.

Keeps our bums clean and me from having to buy toilet paper in bulk
I have a 10 year old son who seems incapable of using the toilet without going through half a roll of toilet paper. It's actually, truly absurd. I knew about bidets from my grandparents' house, where my grandfather (a builder) had installed a separate bidet in their bathroom. I next experienced them while traveling in Europe--our rental apartment in Rome had one and its praises were sung by all. At some point, all of this converged in my head and I realized that a bidet could keep me from going into debt buying toilet paper, not to mention save our ancient septic system. I looked online at a bunch and did a bunch of research and ultimately decided on this magical device. It's a little more expensive than some of the others available, but it had a few things going for it: first, the aesthetics; second, the slimmer profile. This little gadget is sleek and my eyes are already skimming past it when I'm in the bathroom. I like the modern look, but it's also extra functional as well--the knob simply twists right for the rear spray and left for the forward spray. This makes operating it without looking a breeze. The slim aspect of the whole thing has another bonus: it doesn't raise the rear of the seat noticeably. The reviews for many other bidet attachments noted that you'd need to prop up the front of the seat, too, lest the toilet seat snap beneath the weight of its users. This one is so low profile that it doesn't cause an issue at all. Installation was easy. I'm a single 36 y/o woman who considers herself reasonably handy and I was able to do it in about 15 minutes with basic tools. My ONE major suggestion for installation is to obtain some thread seal tape from this site or your local hardware store. It's super cheap, easy to use stuff that just wraps around the threads of the bolt or screw and prevents water from leaking out. It's a buck or two at the major stores and well worth the effort you'll save extra-tightening. Overall, I'm thrilled with this purchase. It really does make a difference in terms of how quickly and efficiently things get clean. By things I obviously mean your bum. This one doesn't have hot water capability, but my sink is too far away anyway so I didn't want or need it. The colder water hasn't been an issue at all for us. Finally, I'll say that the kid happily uses it and hasn't filled the toilet to the brim with paper since I've installed it! Ultimately, I thought this one was worth the slightly higher price because of the aesthetics, but I quickly discovered that its actual function and design make it worth it as well. If I'd bought one of the slightly cheaper ones, I'd have been out the difference getting little bumpers for the front of the seat. 5 out of 5 stars. Highly recommended! I'm sorry I don't have pictures but my bathroom is not ready for its closeup.

Good Bidet, but Could Be Better
I chose this product because it had Prime one-day delivery, but I should mention that there is a similar product eModernDecor Fresh Water Bidet Spray that is cheaper and already comes with the braided water hose but lacks a beveled washer for T-Adapter. I didn't want to use the cheap white plastic water line that came with this product, so I went to the distance to make this work with the hardware store's braided water connection. To achieve this, I first ordered GenieBidet Hybrid LEAK-STOP Chromed Brass 3-Way T Adapter which has a 1/2 FIP outlet, but since the bidet end is 3/8 FIP, I had to get a coupling adapter from 3/8 OD male to 3/8 FIP female, because all the water connections I found at the hardware store were 1/2 FIP to 3/8 Comp. So here is the quick list of what you need if you want a standard braided faucet connector: 1- GenieBidet Chromed Solid Brass T-Adapter 2- 3/8 OD to 3/8 FIP Coupling Adapter 3- 1/2 FIP to 3/8 OD Faucet Water Connector (20" long) 4- Beveled Washer for the New T-Adapter with 7/8 thread (one comes with GenieBidet's original Hybrid T-Adapter) Installation: Very easy to install once you have all the materials. I noticed that the new solid brass T-Adapter from GenieBidet didn't come with a beveled washer, so I used the beveled washer from the original Hybrid T-Adapter that came in the bidet attachment package. I also had to use some teflon tape on the bidet end threads becasue of the coupling adapter I added. Other than these, I hand tightened everything and didn't see any leaks. Use: First thing that I noticed is that the back-spray is stronger than the front-spray. Other than this, everything else is subjective since everyone seats differently. For me, the back-spray was too far away, and I had to slide backward or change the angle of my posture, so I almost always use the front spray now. Conclusion: Only time will tell if this bidet attachment will last, but it is the most stylish design I've found online, and it is light years ahead of the hand-bidet that I installed years ago. The price is good, and the quality seems to be adequate. My only suggestion to the manufacturer is to use a standard 3/8 OD thread at bidet end and provide braided metal connector for water line. Thanks for reading, and good luck.

The best bidet on the market, period.
This thing is amazing!!! For the purposes of this review, I'm comparing it to the Luxe Bidet Neo 120, a popular competing product that I have also tried. In short, between these two products there's no comparison- the GenieBidet wins hands down. It's simply a much better made product, and is better in every single way than the Luxe. DESIGN - The GenieBidet has a really lovely design- it's very subtle, beautifully modern, and sort of 'disappears' when you mount it on the toilet- you seriously don't notice it's there. For comparison, the Luxe Bidet looks absolutely ridiculous... imagine a couple cheap oven dials mounted to a 'Star Trek' pod flying along next to your toilet... that's the Luxe Bidet. FUNCTION - I have relatively high water pressure in my house. The Luxe Bidet, even at it's lowest setting, was just harsh. Frankly, it was painful to use. I suspect this was in part due to the nozzle design, partly due to the large hose it attached with. The GenieBidet uses a much smaller diameter hose, and so the water pressure / spray is much more gentle, while still being very effective. It can be dialed up to be stronger, but it doesn't fall into the 'sharp, needle-like' range of the Luxe. QUALITY - Both bidets connect to your existing toilet valve with a 'T' valve connector, allowing a third hose to branch off to the bidet. The Luxe ships with a cheap plastic T connector, which leaks. In plumbing, these valves are NEVER plastic- they need to be durable and water tight. I even considered buying a metal T connector from Luxe- they offer it on Amazon for another $15 or so. However, the Genie ships with a proper, solid metal connector, exactly like all the rest of your plumbing parts, which doesn't leak... so no contest there. - The frustration of trying to install the Luxe and have it not leak took a few years off my life- I installed and removed it several times trying to troubleshoot the leaking. The Genie installed in 10 minutes, and worked instantly. In short, the Genie is a much superior product, and frankly a pleasure to use. It will change your life. I never thought there was something out there that would change the way I view one of the most basic of human functions, but here I am, and I will never look back. I'm sold for life. Don't waste your money and time on the Luxe... I have no idea how that thing has over 5,000 reviews, and the Genie has less than 400... but 'most popular' and 'best' are often far apart in this world. GenieBidet, I love you :)

GenieBidet Attachment is perfect product for the worst wipers on Earth
I was uncertain of trying the attachment version, or if any bidet product would give me the results I was seeking. I have an 8-year-old who wipes so poorly, without assistance, it has always seemed impossible for him to finish the job accurately. Tried to do showers immediately after wiping a number two... Has anyone ever had to clear a tub drain of poo? He swears he wiped first. Anyway, that incident let me to find this solution. After some research, it seems like most who buy the GenieBidet products leave an outstanding review and after 3 days of use, I have to say this is the best thing for the duce since toilet paper. Half of a my family members have battle-tested the GenieBidet Attachment in the basement bathroom and at least two-more of our five toilets are going to be upgraded. There are two sprayers and to be honest, if you can mildly hover or adjust your position, the product will power wash your undercarriage until you see fit to turn the dial-back to the off position. While sitting in your favorite rest position and feeling a stream of water might seem easiest, some slight adjusting of your body position while feeling the stream will give you the best angle for your personal bottom's power-wash. Note: I have NO pressure issues with this item out-of-the-box, and it works as advertised. The Attachment product installation was extremely easy. I have a quick remove seat, so it is important step to completely remove the seat screws and thread them through the GenieBidet to give it a nice snug fit on your bowl. My toilet seat snapped back in place like a charm and it is an ALMOST perfect fit. While is is not really noticeable, there is now a 1/8 inch raise in height at the back of the seat, but it does not seem to put stress the attachment device- my only concern. I may just remove the "feet" that physically contact the bottom lid to the bowl and add in some plastic washers for spacing- though it really does not seem necessary. If you have a seat that you already love and do not wish to replace, the attachment is really the way to go. The lower price certainly doesn't equal lower performance by any means. It doesn't look at "neat" after installation as the elongated and round seat versions, so I will likely purchase a seat next to compare, as some users already have. I write very few reviews, but this was a very worthy purchase that I would recommend to anyone who wants to feel a little bit cleaner and fresher after dropping kids off at the pool. My last note...do use the GenieBidet before wiping and you will save yourself a lot of paper- especially great for those with septic systems or who are waste conscious. By using the bidet, the toilet paper is just for drying off now. When you can make waste and reduce it at the same time, it's a feels like an added bonus.

Excellent bidet and an amazing value!
I purchased the GenieBidet as well as a hand held wand bidet this week and installed both on different toilets in my house. I highly prefer the GenieBidet for a number of reasons. First, The GenieBidet was exceptionally easy to install. Watch their video link on installation; it's well worth your time. Second, the device works amazingly well with little or no instruction. There's no particular learning curve of any kind. If you have relatives who are not so good with mechanical gadgets I'd go with a fixed position device such as this over a wand bidet, for sure. The only real snag I ran into was the elevated front height of my seat once the GenieBidet was installed. I needed to add some rubber washers at the rear (along with longer bolts...) and some bumpers on the front to even things out. In retrospect, I think I might have done better with their whole seat device but it's hard to know beforehand what will work best in your particular situation. The device itself works so well I was a bit dumbfounded at the simplicity of it all. As others have pointed out, try both directions with the valve and see which spray hits your designated area the best. Turning the knob to the left works best for me and leaves very little water on the toilet seat. It's efficient, effective, and simple. I'm completely sold on the bidet concept and on this product in particular. It's very well thought out. As an aside, the wand on my other toilet also works OK but you do have to retrieve it, move your junk out of the way, then take aim. It will take some practice for me to master this. I'm glad it's located in the master bath away from children and company. It's far easier to get water all over the place with the wand. The GenieBidet is more straightforward. It's also a better value for the price and includes a new 3/8" water source hose; most similar products do not. It's a good idea to replace this hose whenever you make changes to your plumbing although most instructions fail to mention this. Highly, highly recommended product!

Great under-seat installation bidet! - Updated Review
*** UPDATE: February 1, 2018 *** I received a response from GenieBidet today. They offered to send me a new replacement unit, but I already returned mine to Amazon. I increased my rating to 3-stars to reflect that the manufacturer did finally reply to my emails. *** UPDATE: January 30, 2018 *** My GenieBidet developed a problem where both nozzles would shoot out water regardless of what setting I chose. As you can imagine, this is a problem. I tried cleaning the nozzles, checking the connections, etc. But nothing would fix this issue. I have tried repeatedly to contact the manufacturer via direct email and through their website, but have received zero response. This is odd considering how quick they were to answer installation questions. In any case, I can no longer recommend this unit. I am giving it 2-stars because when it worked, it worked well. But the lack of support from the manufacturer regarding my defective unit will make me think twice about purchasing from this company. *** ORIGINAL REVIEW *** I had already purchased the GenieBidet Seat - Self Cleaning Dual Nozzles. Rear & Feminine Cleaning - No wiring required. Simple 20-45 minute installation or less. Hybrid T with ON/OFF Included! (ROUND) for one of my toilets, and that one is great! But some of my family members didn't prefer the seat shape. (I purchased the ROUND version of that seat. I would imagine the ELONGATED seat would have been more liked, if I had an elongated toilet to install it onto.) I really liked the GenieBidet seat, not to mention their great support, so I decided to try this under-seat model and use my existing toilet seat which everyone seems to love. This GenieBidet model fit nicely under my existing toilet seat. Because it is quite thin I don't really notice any unsightly gap between the seat and the toilet so I didn't need to use any bumpers/risers. The installation should have only taken about 15 minutes, but since the toilet I was installing it onto was in a cramped area and had some disagreeable existing plumbing it took longer than I wanted. The included flexible water supply hose was a welcome bonus and was needed, in my case, to replace the old fixed hose. This bidet is very good. The water pressure that I was initially getting was pretty strong so I dialed back the pressure using the T-connector valve. The knob used to operate the bidet is in a good location and easy and use. The plastic used to make this model seems pretty sturdy so I don't know why other reviewers are complaining that it looks cheap. If I had one criticism it's that the bum spray is a little too wide. I wish the spray were a little narrower so that I didn't need to waste toilet paper drying my surrounding areas, if you get the picture. I can't comment on the female spray nozzle. All that being said, I do recommend this product if you are looking for an under-seat attachment bidet. If you want a complete seat replacement, I would certainly recommend the GenieBidet Seat - Self Cleaning Dual Nozzles. Rear & Feminine Cleaning - No wiring required. Simple 20-45 minute installation or less. Hybrid T with ON/OFF Included! (ROUND) .

Absolutely PERFECT!!
I honestly *cannot* imagine a better bidet attachment than this one nor a wiser design and functionality. I have seen other bidet attachments for a lower price but what I did not like about them was that they had 2 buttons in order to use: 1 was to select the area to be cleansed (front or rear) and 1 button was to select pressure. I really did not want to spend/waste time working around with 2 buttons when I want to speedily be in-and-out of the bathroom. The GenieBidet is the only one out there that I found which has one single button which by a single turn (left or right) designates *both* the area to be cleaned as well as the water pressure. Absolutely INGENIOUS!!! Installation took 15-20 minutes and the hardest part of the process was shutting off the valve for the water supply to the toilet as the knob required a lot of strength to turn. I could not turn off the water supply completely, so I just put a bucket underneath the pipe and valve to catch all the trickling water and did my best to work in a speedy fashion to install the bidet. Therefore, the hard part was not even with the installation of the bidet itself, but simply due to something already existing in my home which was difficult to use. Installing all the parts of the bidet per the video instruction on Amazon.ca as well as YouTube was an ABSOLUTE breeze and it provided a *wonderful* sense of accomplishment once I finished all by myself. I chose the attachment rather than the bidet seat because I measured my round toilet from the tank to the front of the bowl and it was about 17" (which would not have allowed the lid to stay open) as the recommended minimum for the seat is 19"-20.5". The angle of the jets is absolutely perfect especially for the rear, for the feminine front it helps to adjust posture/sit up straight in order to reach the area needed. Takes a little bit of practice, but I'm on my 2nd day using this and I've already gotten much better at using it! Happiness all around, cleanliness all around, AMAZING PRODUCT and RECOMMEND 100%!!!!

Value for money and a very positive experience with the seller
I love the thin profile of the mounting plate. Our previous bidet attachment had a thick mounting base that adversly affected the toilet seat, leading to a crack eventually. The inclusion of a shutoff valve is most welcome. Never had this feature before. The installation was really easy to accomplish and the seat bolt hole alignment feature works really well. Making this product truly universal. I had ordered this before and recieved it with shipping damage. The base part was completely broken. Initiating contact with the supplier (through Amazon) was exceptional. They asked me to return the damaged item at my expense and they promised to refund the item cost and shipping charge when they recieved it. They went above and beyond and were as good as their word. I had a full refund and I made another order though Amazon. Our toilet flush previously was very loud. Since installing the GenieBidet the loud noise has disappeared. Amazing!! I cannot be happier. We're still getting used to using this bidet attachment as it has only been installed for 24 hours. So far......two thumbs up

Glorious
One poop is all it takes to make you never want to poop any other way. I was hesitant to use a cold-water unit (Canada) but itโs quite refreshing. Easy to install. No leaks 2 months in. 4 stars because even though this is the best-looking design, I still think itโs awkward looking.

Easy To Install
Easy to install. Cleans well. There is some water splash after use under the toilet seat and on the bidet attachment but easily cleaned with a little toilet paper. To assure total cleanilness, turn on the bidet and rock back and forth for a well and use a some amount of toilet paper to dry off and you are done.
