I suffer with subacromial impingement syndrome which causes significant pain in my arm and shoulder. With physiotherapy sessions 6 weeks apart the vast majority of my physio is done at home. Several of the exercises require using weights and I have to say the neoprene dumbell weights are far superior to tins of beans! They are very comfortable to hold and with the range available it is easy to get the correct weight. they don't cause sweaty palms and once the physio is complete I will continue to use them for general exercise. they are inexpensive and were delivered promptly.

These may be easier to keep hold of with sweaty hands than the metal weights, I still ended up getting a pair of weight training gloves. They function as "sweat proof" up to a point, but I still didn't feel 100% secure with some of the high energy power moves. Still a good set of weights. I bought the 5kg set and the grip in the middle was a good size and I was able to hold it easily. Also, liked the flat surface which allowed for the exercises where you need them to stay still (i.e plank and row)

Very comfortable. Removeable weight dumbells are cheaper and more flexible, but have much longer handles. These are nice and short, and the neoprene covering makes them comfy.Delivery in time for Christmas was miraculous as I’d ordered a pair from another company and was then told at almost the last minute they wouldn’t arrive in time. These arrived the next morning after ordering late at night.

These are excellent for the use they were bought for, to help a 91 year-old do her physio exercises. But the colour was a lovely surprise - very bright, not nondescript as in the picture. Inviting to use, and they're not going to get lost!

Really pleased with these. I have quite small hands but they’re easy to grip and very comfortable to use. My husband has used weights for years and he was impressed too, to the point he’s going to get heavier ones for use at home. I’ve no hesitation in recommending these weights.

Purchased the 2kg dumbbells and they are just what I was looking for to step up my training. They arrived on time and are very ergonomic. No sliding around when you out them down and no slipping in your hands due to the rubber finish.Highly recommended and will be looking at the range to complete my weights set.

These are good, but I don't know if it is the sizing that I'm not sure about. I mean, they are a bit chunkier than the ones I use in the gym and for some reason feel heavier, although I have put them on the scales, and they are bang on. Bit ambivalent about these.

I got the 4Kg variety. The hand-holds are wider than my older ones and actually feel significantly better in that respect. Shipping of these to me was delayed by a week or two but I didn't mind at all (can't imagine why anybody would be in a rush to get these) and they were as expected when they did arrive.I looked at quite a few other dumbbells and couldn't see any that cost less for the same weight and I can confirm, there is no 'catch'. Obviously fixed-weight dumbbells aren't optimal for progressive overload but in my case, these go in a bag with others (which I can add further weight to over time).
