If you build, maintain or fix computers this is great if you just need a screw driver I still recommend this.
This is a extremely well made multi bit screw driver with the ability to ratchet making your job a lot faster. I'm sold I am going to order a few more. I really wish I could order other bits to customize the load out though. And one more small detail the magnet that holds the but works fine fore the larger flat surfaces bits but any thing small it becomes weak. The magnet needs to be stronger and I think this is one of the strongest type of magnets already so the only other option is to make it longer to increase it's strength without widening out the shaft. Other then that I still think this is a very good tool and very thought out.

Overall nice quality driver
Since I was not familiar with the brand I must admit I wasn’t expecting much. I likely have every decent ratcheting screwdriver available including Wera, Klein, Felo, Wiha, Bondus, Irwin, and PB Swiss. I very well may be leaving some out but anyhow I’m pleasantly surprised by the quality of the Rolgear screwdriver. It has an ergonomic and comfortable grip. You are able to get sufficient torque on the fasteners. It seems as if it should hold up to professional use and I really like the silent ratcheting gears. The silent action is one feature that makes this driver better than many of the others I have tried. One thing that would make it better would be to add a 1/4” quick connect shank rather than just the magnetic connect as it is. My only real gripe at this point is the two sided bits...they aren’t hitting on much especially when using only a magnet to keep them in the shaft. As a personal preference, I’d rather have 7 single sided quality bits of the most used sizes including Robertson, Phillips, slotted, and as an electrician the combo heads for connectors and device screws would be great.

neat-o
Good deal, and so far its working as described. I got this mainly for when I need to remove the bottom plate on dishwashers to remove flooring, and at times its extremely limited clearance, so having the ability to ratchet in tiny amounts helps tremendously. Quality is nice so far. I also like how the green toggle for forward/lock/reverse functions. If you need to reverse the gear, you turn it left (?) but it doesnt stop, you feel a tiny click and it just spins freely. if you need to forward, then you just twist it the other way, and it spins freely as well. Its a little tricky to get it in the locked position because you literally turn it maybe 10-15 degrees and will click, so changing gears is extremely fine, you can easily miss the lock detent. I however got used to this and like it because it is minimal effort to change directions. The storage for the bits and the bits itself are pretty handy too. Has anyone else noticed that more tools are coming in black/white instead of hi-viz green/orange/blue? I used to paint all my tools white to easily identify my tools from others when at a jobsite, and I do flooring so white stands out well on the floor since hardwood floors are generally in the tan-brown-red-black colorways.

Not a professional grade tool
I’ve had this driver in my kit for several years, I was drawn to it due to the unique ratchet mechanism. Recently the ratchet mechanism began to bind up, so I called in to see what the warranty was. The woman who answered the phone proceeded to explain to me that I could send it in, but 9/10 times this symptom was due to the tool getting wet, and would not be covered if that was the case. I was shocked, as a trade professional I find it unacceptable that a tool like this would not be warranted if it got wet. Keep in mind I don’t use my tools in wet conditions typically, and am not hard on my stuff, but I’m sure it has gotten wet a time or two over the last couple of years, and I’m sure her assumption that the mechanism is rusty must be correct. Why would you make a tool with internal components that rust resulting in failure? At this price point a Festool, or Klein product would be warranted if you drove over it with a truck, and it would have cost $10 less. Spend another $30 and you’d have a snap on driver. I hope this review is read by the MFG, you need to rethink your product and your warranty if you want people like me to use your stuff. Definitely not a pro grade tool.

Well Made and Functional Screwdriver.
I really like this screwdriver. The handle feels great and the bits are easily accessed. The ratchet action is not really a ratchet, but it is very smooth and precise. The only two things that I dislike are the length of the bits are sometimes too long and the magnet holding the bits is too weak. I find that the bit will stay stuck to the screw on occasion. The same thing happens to my Snap-On ratchet driver. I would prefer a ball bearing holder for the bits. As far as the length, I have found that using a standard bit holder and a 1 inch bit shortens it somewhat and works fine. The small directional selector is a minor annoyance being slippery. All in all, it is a well made and functional screwdriver and better than many others.

Very high quality, excellent ratchet action, NOT made in China
This is the 3rd Rolgear screwdriver I've bought, they work extremely well.Pros:- Fantastically smooth, silent ratcheting action- Made in Canada, NOT com't China- Fairly easy to change ratchet direction forward/backward with one hand- Excellent quality for the price- Bits store securely in the handle and it's almost impossible to lose them- Bits are easy to store and remove due to friction fit and a magnet also holds them in place when changing bitsCons:- None!Highly recommended.

NOT RELIABLE
Is completely unreliable under any load. Just using slight pressure on the driver locks up the ratcheting mechanism. I returned mine within an hour of receiving it.

Well engineered
Screwdriver is amazing. Inwas skeptical about the multi bit. The ratchet drive is so smooth and no play. Easy to hold. Still wish it was magnetic. I would but this again!

Cacciavite a cricchetto silenzioso Rolgear

Good screwdriver, poor overall design
Pros:- Silent ratcheting as described, works well- Easy to grip handle- The bits appear to be of good quality as wellCons:- Bits are stored in the handle, but are not secured in place. As soon as the screwdriver is pointed downwards, the bit slide out of their slots, and you have to worry about them instead of the task at hand- The little metal bit you see in the first photo is magnetic, and is meant to catch the bits as they slide, but it doesn't always work. You can see in the second photo that bits have slid out to varying degrees, where they get in the way and also distract from whatever you're working on. One bit has actually dropped to the floor- I assumed (my bad) that all bits could be stored away, but it turns out that one bit needs to remain in the socket, which means it can't be stored in compact places (like a motorbike's toolkit for instance- There are a number of square and star bits, but no allen keys. Personally I would have preferred more allen bits as I am much more likely to deal with those than square (never even seen one of those!!) or star
