First item had two large scratches across the top of the glass globe. Box was in poor condition as well.Amazon replaced the order for me, second one arrived with the box slightly better, but instead of large scratches/scuffs— the globe had a fairly large pockmark or knot(about the size of a small pea) as well as some other small but noticeable imperfections.Quality control appears to be iffy, but my sample size is only two. Maybe I’m unlucky.Aside from that my only complaint would be the quality of the base. Light, thin plastic may be the norm for what one is to expect with this product, but it just feels flimsy and cheap.*Edit: I forgot to mention the quality of the plasma streamers and the light itself-- both of which are VERY GOOD. Bright light, with lots of distinct filaments. If the glass was of higher quality, I'd be much happier.

At first this item was doing great getting ENERGY into little cuts and help healing, however when I tipped it upside down to get the top onto the spot needed, the middle part dropped down.It's been too long after buying the 6 inch I had bought the 8 inch and it FALLS apart while the 6 inch I bought NOT from Amazon, I will always search for products not sold on Amazon. I will choose stores that do not put their workers 12 hour daytime like no breaks, 1 am to noon. Also FireFox is being DROPPED from using that FREE browser has been WOKED from Amazons' new data, books, shows, videos, anything to do with Amazon...FREE software wants to be a subject that Amazon wants to be 'disappeared'. 10 years from now Amazon might be GONE & as an old buyer, Not buying from them anymore. My 8 inch ball remains UNWORKING, the gas leaked out because guess where it was made? CHINA! If it had been made IN America I would have sent it back to get a new one. btw the MUSIC never ever worked from day of delivery.

Does what it says on the tin. Comes with two functions; always on or sound activated...which sounds cool, but it basically useless if you're not throwing a party.Lost a star because it makes an incredible amount of noise. The high pitched whine of the electronics inside make it undesirable to use in a quiet room.

Works for the intended purpose, which is to say, it attracts attention. And what's not cool about a plasma ball?

I brought this for my girls for Christmas. It looked amazing but worked for a couple of months then just went out. sad to say I loved the product when it was working but was disappointed in the end.

I saw some reviews on this before buying with folks having problems with them working. I had no issues. This works exactly as advertised.

Worked really well until my little one destroyed it. But in the companies defense, she could break an anvil. Highly recommend.

This was a gift for my granddaughter, it was a smash hit with all the kids.
