Nice bit of kit.
I haven’t been using my car as regularly as I used to and kept getting warning from the dash that battery was low. I had a battery charger which was really old and whilst it worked I didn’t like to just leave it plugged in not knowing the state of the battery. I purchased this item and have used it a couple of times now. It’s a compact device, lightweight which is good. The crocodile clips are of a decent size for clamping on terminals or chassis. The display is excellent and provides you with all the data you require, initially it will input about 8amps into the battery and after a short period of time you can see this start to fall, it shows you the voltage of the battery, whilst it’s a 12 volt battery your looking for it being about 14. Again this is visible. The best thing is that the charger switches itself off when battery is charged, which gives me the confidence to leave it unattended.

Works very well if car is parked close to a mains.
I needed this for our sons car who currently works away. We were fed up with jump starting and driving the car for hours to restore the battery level. So far this has worked but you need to be close to an electricity point as it needs to be plugged into the mains to work. This also means you can only charge on a dry day, which in Scotland are rare or you need to remove the battery from the car. With a depleted battery it will take a few hours to charge but is very easy to handle. Cables could all be longer so the charger is not sitting on the chassis while charging the car.

Does the job very well
When a recent cold snap hit, a few failed attempts to start the ageing family bus finished off the battery. Jump leads would be my usual go to but having one car with battery terminals in the engine bay and another with the battery under the driver's seat meant it was a struggle to get jump leads to reach (at least without blocking the road in the process). As this wasn't the first time I'd been presented with this conundrum I decided to invest in a charger as the car was only a few metres from the house and running a mains extension cable would be easy. Having followed the slightly minimalist instructions, I hooked up the charger to the battery terminals and was immediately presented with a readout of the voltage and charge status of the battery on the display. At this stage it seemed to think the battery was 100% charged which was a bit odd but perhaps this was me misinterpreting the display. Anyway, I proceeded to switch on the mains AC power to the unit, after which the charge status dropped to about 60% and the display indicated that the battery was charging. During charging, the display tells you the voltage across the terminals (which will be higher than 12V during charging) and the current it is supplying to the battery, as well as the battery charge status from 0-100%. As the battery becomes more charged you can see the supplied current dropping off. Within 4 hours of charging it was indicating 80%-100% so I switched off the charger, disconnected from the battery, and the car fired up straight away. One happy customer! The only thing that lets this product down is the instruction manual which is about 4 tiny pages per language - just enough to understand what the basic functions are. Reading the display of the unit does require some 'interpretation' which isn't covered in the product manual unfortunately, but the bottom line is that you can just hook this thing up, power it on and come back in a few hours and it's done its job.For info, the battery I used this on was a fairly heavy duty 12V 74Ah battery in a 2.0L diesel car.

High tech car battery charger
This is a very good smart battery charger. You can use it to check the quality of your battery. I have to use it constantly to charge the battery I’d my second car as it is sat on the drive most of the time and when I come to use it the battery is dead. All I do the the charger in and connect it. Within 12 hours my car battery is fully charge. This is a very good charger

Battery charger
Bought this for the leisure battery on our caravan and it worked brilliantly. Every other one I bought and tried just didn't charge the battery. This one was spot on and slow charged our leisure battery and a very reasonable price as well. Very good value and it arrived the next day, which was 3 days early. Brilliant

Great!
My car hasnt moved off the driveway for over a month, and with it being an older car and the weather all through December, there was no power in my car at all. Even the central locking wasn’t working. Thought I’d try this as a last resort, and after being plugged in for an hour, my car started first time. Definitely worth the money!

Very easy to use
The best thing abou the charger was how easy it is to use. Just attach to red and black and connect to the mains and wait for the indicator to show 100%. I have a Halfords quickcharge that great but this charger gets the battery back up to fully charged,

Repaired the battery
We keep it in the vehicle. And have an extension cord on hand. Works great in canadian weather. Takes about 45 minutes from dead to a full charge. To be fair we used it on a hatchback chevy. Seems to do what it's made to
