I consider myself something of a snack guru
The media could not be loaded. I consider myself something of a snack guru. I constantly urge my friends, family members and co-workers to read nutrition labels and stay away from foods high in sugar, saturated fats and almost anything that ends in “-ium.” Should you really have to earn a bachelor’s degree in chemistry just to understand the right foods to buy at a grocery store? What do I care if I’m not getting enough phosphate, manganese or magnesium in my diet? I don’t even know what those things are, and I never advise other people to eat foods they’d understand only with the help of a college textbook.Jerky is simple. I recommend it for anyone with an active lifestyle or for anyone in need of a protein punch. The jerky bites I purchased online are grain-free, which means they’re a perfect substitute for potato chips, candy bars and other snacks high in carbs. They’re also ideal for anyone who loves other brands of jerky but struggles with portion control. You’ll find most other jerky cut into strips you won’t be able to finish in fewer than three or four bites. You might as well have eaten a McDonald’s double stack by the time you’ve finished off two or three strips for an after-dinner “snack.” You’d like to eat less, sure, but you don’t want to eat half of a strip and throw the other half back in the bag. Each cut of CORE Rewards jerky is about the size of a postage stamp, so you can take just as much or as little as you want in one sitting and you’ll never have to leave a piece unfinished once you pick it out of the bag.I’m surprised how well beef and venison go together. I also highly recommend the chicken and lamb. The jerky is a little tougher and stringier than I expected it to be. You may have to chew the pieces longer than you’d chew other jerky. You’ll work out muscles in your jaws you don’t even use when you eat other foods. Long periods of chewing burn calories, though. If you’re chowing down on a bag of CORE Rewards, just think of snack time as part of your exercise routine. Some people tell me they don’t like the smell of my breath after I eat the beef and venison. They ask me if I’ve been eating roadkill. Sometimes even after I brush my teeth two or three times, I can’t get rid of the odor. I’m proud of my jerky breath, though. Every time I smell it on myself I think of the killer physique I’m going to have twenty years from now. Do you think any woman’s go to complain about my breath when she’s kissing a guy with rippled abs and biceps as hard as concrete?CORE Rewards jerky is perfect not only for gym rats and professional athletes, though. If I were a parent, I’d put it in my kids’ lunches. I’ve even written a letter to a local school district. I want to see CORE Rewards in cafeterias and vending machines around the district by the start of the next school year.I wish that every commercial for snack foods would include the kind of warnings beer companies give their consumers. Maybe more people would rethink the Doritos and Twizzlers in their shopping carts if they heard “Snack Responsibly” at the end of every commercial for the products. I wish I could get everyone hooked on jerky bites. But sometimes my friends, family and co-workers don’t seem to have even as much sense as my dog. He goes crazy for CORE Rewards. I haven’t been able to convince anyone else, though, that I’m anything but a health nut—and maybe I am. But at least I’m not standing in line for open heart surgery.

Smelly treats
These were really strong smelling treats and they were actually kinda rubbery. Although the dogs really liked these, they weren't for puppies. I wanted them for the softness. Absolutely soft treats! They had a strong smokey smell on them, really artificial smelling to be honest. I didn't get any again but they do seem like they are high value treats because of the smell. Picky eater did like these but didn't eat alot of them, maybe after 5 she'd didn't want anymore. The big guys ate them as usual, a treat really has to be bad for them to not eat it like a vegetable treat or something.

Pups love them!
These are great little bite size treats to have around to give to my dogs for a reward, or just some extra love! Both my dogs enjoy them, and I would highly recommend.

Pup loves these!
My pup loves these treats! He had diarrhea with Milkbones, and these have helped get his tummy back to normal. Just wish they were bigger pieces.

Not as great as some of their other treats
These are a really weird texture and super thin. They are soft and chewy which my dogs like but they don’t seem to like these much.

My dog loves them.
My furkid could finish the whole bag in 1 sitting. It is a little expensive for the small bag though.
