Women's Thermoball Traction Winter Bootie | Insulated & Water Repellent, Rubber Outsole

My wife writes: “These booties are awesome — last year I’d bought a pair in the low-top mule version (which are called, ‘The North Face Women’s ThermoBall Traction Mules,’) to wear outdoors on cold days and to the rink for our son’s hockey games, and since they did the trick so well of keeping my feet toasty, dry and comfortable, I decided this year to go for another pair in the bootie version. The booties do not disappoint — still the same great warmth and comfort, plus they are a trendy-yet-classic combo of fashion and function, so I am happy to have added them as a wardrobe staple, but I will say that they are not a straight-up high-top version of the exact same shoe. A couple of differences to note between these booties and the low-top mule version: 1) This is minor, but the stitching/quilting pattern is different on these booties than on the mules. I like them both, and I like the variation, but it is just something to be aware of. 2) Although the back portion of the booties’ upper is a separate piece from the front portion and can physically be folded down to convert them to mules, the high-top cut of these booties means that there is more material in the back which creates a good bit of bulk inside the shoe when folded down, so you definitely feel it more under your heel if you choose to wear them this way. 3) The low-top version has a faux-fur fleece lining inside, whereas these booties do not, so the interior surface of the booties’ upper is the same as the puffer surface on the outside. I find that this makes the booties feel slicker on the inside, resulting in a less-snug fit, but as they are high-tops and perhaps not really meant to be worn as mules (see above,) that does not matter too much to me. I will mostly end up wearing them with socks anyway, which cuts down on slippage and create an extra layer of insulation to boot (see what I did there? 😜) …All in all I think these are fantastic — either for indoor or outdoor use — and if I could I would own several more pairs. The 2 pairs I own now are grey and black, so might go for a bright color next!”

These are the BEST shoes if you want to keep your feet warm. I wore them in -29 degree with a regular pair of socks and was fine!! Love these. For me they run a little big, I wear 7.5 and got the 7 and had to return them for the 6. Perfect fit and can still wear a wool sock with no toe pinching.

After wearing these for winter I love them! They’re so comfortable, easy to put on, waterproof and cozy. If you’re looking for arch support these aren’t for you. I got a lot of compliments on them this winter.

These are very cute and extremely warm. I’m honestly not sure if they’re slippers or shoes. They have a hard sole bottom so it could be used as shoes. I’m using them more for slippers. I wear a 7 1/2 and my feet are narrow and I bought a 7 1/2 and it fits me perfectly. These are also very light even though it has a thick soul. It’s not heavy so I feel like I’m not even wearing shoes except that my feet are warm. I love them. If they’re your style, I would definitely give them a try. They don’t slip and wearability is great.

Wow, just wow. While I battled with how unattractive these are haha, but I’m beyond impressed. I wanted something easy to throw on to take the doggie out in the winter but these exceeded expectations. I just walked 2 miles in -6 degree weather in the snow and was so so so cozy and warm the entire time. And I frequently walk a few miles in them when it’s. Not as cold just when I’m lazy, and they’re fantastic!! Waterproof, soft, cozy, value for money, lightweight, amazing quality, 10/10 purchase. And the “style” is growing on me (kind of ;)) I’ll buy more again just to have

4.5 stars for warmth, comfort, and grippy soles. 1/2 star off for color bleed. I’ll explain, the inside is black fleece and will bleed onto your lighter color socks. Just an fyi .. otherwise I am happy with them.

Awesome shoes for the price, good cushioning that makes it comfortable for walk with my dog. Fit is true to size. They’re relatively waterproof in the snow.

Just do it! Perfect shoes for camping, caravaning, van life etc. Pop them on, run to the toilet block and back again. Or need shoes for popping the dogs into the garden? Perfect. Or going on a long journey? Perfect car shoes! They’re the best slippers I’ve ever owned. I always get cold feel (poor circulation) and these have NEVER let me down! I wear them all the time! They’re a little expensive but I would say they’re 100% worth it. Ugly as sin but function over fashion, right?

Wir hatten diese Schuhe bereits gekauft und sind super zufrieden damit. Sie halten die Füße kuschelig warm, sind sehr bequem und schnell anzuziehen. Leider konnte ich mein Paar nicht testen, da die falsche Größe geschickt wurde. Aber an sich sind das richtig tolle Schuhe für Frostbeulen ;-P
